While the game is sweet and pretty, it's shortness and linearity hold it back from reaching Tales quality.
Being a huge fan of the Tales series, I saw that this was made by Namco and determined that it is a must play. Knowing it may be a bit lackluster seeing as it isn't a franchise title of a big company, I came into it alre... Read Full Review

Solid gameplay, stunning visuals and an incredible soundtrack make Eternal Sonata one of the better JRPGs out there.
Eternal Sonata is based around the impending death of the Polish composer Frederic Chopin, who died aged 39 of tuberculosis. In the intro, he lapses in and out of consciousness and begins to dream about a girl named Polk... Read Full Review

Gorgeous, but it doesnt deliver.
Released in America Sept. 17th, 2007, this creative Bandai RPG is easy to get lost in. I can definitely see a good game lying under 10 feet of candy cane colored pink ponies crapping rainbows. Point im trying to make is ... Read Full Review

A pleasant little 30 hour romp for those of us who enjoy our RPGs.
Beautifully rendered 2D graphics reminiscent of any JapRPG title, the game is both pretty to look at as well as addictive to play. The storyline is interesting enough and the characters likeable. Combat is turn-bas... Read Full Review

Now I'm not that big on RPGs but this one is one I'll be picking up for sure after an extended play run at my Local Game Stop on the PS3. The sound and VOs are top notch, the graphics make you feel like your playing a... Read Full Review

My favorite game on the 360 to date.
First of all, this game isn't for everyone, you have to like anime-style-cutesy-games to like this game. If you do, you'll probably love this game. Presentation: I have two opinions about the presentation of the... Read Full Review

Eternal Sonata is a wonderful game with lovable characters, an amazing story, and an innovative and fun battle system.
The bottom line: Eternal Sonata is a wonderful game with lovable characters, an amazing story, and an innovative and fun battle system. However, it has very linear maps, no side quests other than a mini-game thing, and ... Read Full Review

You get lost in the world of Eternal Sonata but some quirks make it a little less appealing.
Eternal Sonata is a story about Fredrick Chopin's dream while he is in a comatose state and dying; Chopin is alive within his dream and tags along with a group that gathers to confront Count Waltz, the selfish tyrant tha... Read Full Review
