  1. Unlock Extreme Mode

    After inserting a coin, at the title screen, do the following:

    Effect Effect
    Up,A, Down, Down, Left, Right, Up, Down, B,B, A, A+B. Extreme mode become available at the mode selection screen and enemies will now explode into bullets if destroyed.

    For every hour of total game time you spend, the number of continues you earn will increase by one.

  2. Extra Options

    To unlock the greyed-out "extra options" feature in the options menu, clear the game once. Character and number of continues do not matter. The feature lets you change various settings such as game speed and hitbox size.
