The first action-adventure game is sweet.
No idea why people think this is an RPG. This is an action-adventure game, and is credited to be the first. The plot is very simple: a wizard stole the chalice, you must rescue it and slay the dragon. The graphics are... Read Full Review

Adventure is the single celled organism The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy sprang from.
Adventure for the Atari 2600 was the granddaddy of all RPG’s. A pure classic and the first of its kind, it added a level of depth not before seen on the Atari. The gameplay of Adventure seems deceptively simple at fir... Read Full Review

Arguably the best game on the system
This review is coming from a viewpoint in 2006, so I might be a little bit biased. Although the NES was already out I wasn't allowed to have one back in the 80's so I had to get in my fair share of Mario and Zelda at fri... Read Full Review

Adventure is one of the greatest classics in gaming history. It's inspiration came from the text adventure of the same name and is one the first graphical adventure games I ever played. There are three different versi... Read Full Review

Graphically, where it all began
m0zart continues to turn out one review "masterpiece" after another and I commend him for his accurate recollections and memory of the games and their dynamics stretching back nearly 30 years ago. I was a kid during tha... Read Full Review

Look out Duck! Here comes the DOT of carnage with its +10 arrow of dragon/duck slaying.
When I think back on this game I can remember thinking that it was a real challenge having to kill three dragons so I settled for just one. If I was to be playing this game today... Who am I kidding, I would never play... Read Full Review
