This is one of my all time favourites, and still is after so many years.

User Rating: 10 | Full Throttle PC
I was only 4 when Full Throttle came out, but I could still tell a good game when I saw one. Adventure games were the first kinds I played. I grew up with "Monkey Island," "Sam & Max," and obviously, "Full Throttle." As great as those are though, Full Throttle has had the biggest impact on me and is still my favourite adventure game of all time. The ONLY, and I mean ONLY negative is that its fairly short. That doesn't matter to me though, it has the charm of your favourite movie, there are times you want to pop it back in and relive the magic over again.

The game tells the story of Ben, the leader of a biker gang known as "The Polecats." Schafer played his cards right in the creation of this character, as Biker Gangs are usually unlikable folks. Ben, while still a ruthless badass, is surprisingly kind and likable, making him a memorable protagonist. He may not have qualms taking a chainsaw to the face of a member from another gang, but he's not a murderer or a rapist. The story is excellently told, and has many fun twists and turns, and even some genuine chemistry between the characters. This is easily the most "constructed" of the classic adventure games, while there's still some wacky humour and bizarre situations, its not deadpan and disjointed like the others when it comes to dialogue, characters, etc.
