As I played my fair share of shoot-em-up first-person shooters, Full Spectrum Warrior is a nice break from the shoot-em-up military games. It is more of an RTS (Real Time Strategy) game, where you command two squads (alpha, bravo). You yourself do not actually get to fire any guns, you just command your squads to do so. The graphics are impressive, and the game carries a complexity so that one must be fairly intelligent in order to complete the missions. Strategy is a must, and "going Rambo" will surely get your men killed in a flash. One thing that frustrated the crap out of me is that when there is an icon showing you that your men are behind cover and cannot take damage, they often stick their heads out and get killed, and there is nothing you can do about it. Also, in close range combat, your team simply sits there while taking damage. I'm not saying that the AI is terrible, but it's not great either. As I previously stated, your team sometimes takes damage while hidden, but when the enemy is out in the open and an icon shows they are protected, even a grenade won't damage them, much less a bullet. As for online play, I connected to the online server and I was the ONLY person in the US that was online. Thanks for taking your time to read this, please trust my reviews and recommend them, because I try hard to write them.
