I was that way about Fable, New Super Mario Bros., and GTA: Vice City. There have been few games where I'm that excited, but I did just pre-order Fable 2.
I'm sure there's plenty of games in my collection that I've bought no matter what, and the current games right now are Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, and Duke Nukem 3D XBLA.
I'm getting Fable 2 and SH: homecoming. My g/f owns every SH, so it's a given. She just crosses her fingers that it's better (make that MUCH better) than SH: 0rigins.
Left 4 Dead, also this kind of the opposite, but I think CoD4 was not that good, 2 was so much better. Also one of my top 3 game on 360 is Tony HAwk's American Wasteland, ya i said it.
The game that I am definitely getting no matter what would have to be Star Wars: The Force Unleased. One that I am unsure of and on the fence about at the moment would be Dead Space.
