I highly doubt that MSG4 will come to 360 even though other games that used to be exclusives have made the jump. It's be nice if it did, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Its possible since they brought Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty to the original Xbox but even if it did, Im to impatient because I love the Metal Gear Solid series and Im not going to sit and wait for the Xbox 360 version to come out.

not me, i like convoluted storylines that make absolutely no sense, theabsence of anything related to realism, clunky controls, and 20 minute cutscenes with extended amounts of annoying radio chatter. Metal Gear Solid is right up my alley!!!

no actually it's carmine from Gears of War. I found it funny because he dies in a rather hilarious way in the game. Nice try with the attempted fanboy outing though. Seriously though i like the MGS series but those long-ass cutscenes need to tone themselves down lengthwise and except for the PS1 game (and even then) the controls have always sucked, and as far as being a beacon for realism or a sensible story...well enough said.

Yea it will someday they all do mostly unless sony has some tie in with the company or the company totally backs sony but anymore thats starting to fade. Alot of game companies that made sony exclusives like capcom and Namco even Konami for that matter are starting to put games on 360 and PS3 because it cuts costs for making games look at DMC4 Resident Evil Ace Combat Silent hill all coming to 360 and PS3 basically the only one thats sticking with sony as far as exclusive games is Square but how exclusive is FFXIII?
If Konami said they have to sell a crapload of MGS4 units on day one, then chances are, it will be coming to the 360. Exclusives are good for a console, but that's if the console is doing good. The PS3 is doing decent,but Konami can't stay loyal for long and turn a blind eye to the hole in their profits.
Depends, I read in a story about 2 months ago (on this website) that Konomi is pressuring Kojima into making the game multiplatform. Kojima's loyality is with Sony and virtually refuses to have his "baby" lose its exclusitivity. Konomi is worried that they won't make enough profit due to the lack of sales on Sony's forefront. In my opinion, it's going to eventually make the jump over to 360 just like Metal Gear Solid 2 did, apearing on Xbox 6 months or so later. The only way it stays exclusive is if sales are the equivalent to Galaxy, Halo 3, etc. I just feel those numbers can't be reached on an ailing console like ps3. (no I'm not a fanboy either)
I think if it doesn't sell as well as Konami hopes they will port it. They already publicly stated in an interview with Reuters they might not even recoup the development costs of the game with projected sales. So when money is on the line the big bad corporation is going to supercede Hideo Kojima and port it. Because Kojima is the only one who wants it exclusive other than Sony of course.

I'm surprised noone else can see this as a possilbility. Konami said that if the game doesn't sell 1 mill the first day its likely they will never get their investment back. But in the same breath they say its still a PS3 exclusive. Why is it so hard for people to believe they are saying they are still backing the PS3 just because if it does do extrememly well and hits that mark they look good to Sony for sticking with them. But had they said they think it would do poorly and said ahead of time it would go to the 360 they would look bad to Sony if it did good. Though if they say its an exclusive now and the game does bad they can just cut their loses and port it to maximize profits.
Its buisiness people, a company can make all the promises in the world today, and tomorrow they can go back on their word to make dollar. I don't know what warm fuzzy world you people live in where if a company says something their word is golden and you put absolute faith in them. Look how many "exclusive IPs have jumped ship in the past. I have this nice memory of holding a GameCube copy of Resident Evil 4 in my hand with the "Only on" emblem on the case and in the other hand holding a PS2 copy of the game. So when money is on the line companies even break signed contracts. So I don't think anyone should be absolutely convinced by Konami's song and dance about PS3 exclusivity.

Actually Konami said they never made that statement and not to believe everything you read, especially 1up.
Its all about money hence why big Exclusives have asince went multiplatform
MGS is costing konami more then any previous game and so they want their money back and interest to do that they woukld have to sell like 2 million copys.
since theres only 8 million PS3 owners then that means at least 1/4 of all PS3 owners NEED to buy the game now thats a steep percentage to aim for (i dont think a 1/4 of xbox owners own halo)
