Which one to get: Gears, Halo3 or COD4?

Hey out of gears of war, call of duty 4 and halo 3 which one should I get? I want a game that has a fast paced multiplayer, i don't give a donkeys balls about singleplayer, and I want something that will give me a thrilling and heart-pumping experience online. I've got COD3, but it isn't as thrilling as I'd liked it to be...

Heart pumping online experience? Definately Gears of war. This has to be one of the best, if not the best, online game i've ever played.

4v4 gives you the chance to work as a team and get up close and personal with the other team. Really gives the shooting game a new meaning.

Its a hard decision... between Gears and COD4. Ill be honest I've had a more thrilling time in gears then COD4. Its just so badass to be the last person on your team alive and there are 3 guys on the other team... and you wipe em out. its an awesome feeling. I just dont get that in COD4. if your looking for teamwork, you will have a better experience in Gears over COD4. But COD4 also has some pretty addictive gameplay.

You should just sell you soul and get Gears and COD4.

I have to say Gears or CoD4. To me Halo doesn't belong on the list of trilling and heart pumping.

Between the two, I have to say Gears of War. It does get very intense plus the co-op is excellent. CoD4 is also instense and thrilling, but I like Gears online a bit more then CoD4.

I like Shooters, they're all shooters, but which one has a truly great online experience? I can only get ONE of these games.Murkinz

I think he meant that Gears is a tactical shooter and the others are fps. I would say COD4 I've always enjoyed Halos mp andI loves Gears' sp, but COD4's mp just looks freakin' amazing.

NOT HALO 3... it's a rental at best.

If you want a good game, Gears or COD4 will do you right. Both are fun to play online and both have great (although, short) single player campaigns. The only downfall I see in COD4 is that there is no CO-OP mode for the campaign... It's 2007... come on now every shooter in which the player is surrounded by a team in the campaign should have a CO-OP mode.

Gears is "meh" at best... It's not heart-pumping or thrilling. If you want that you should go with COD4.Lobster_Ear

COD4 sucks for the sole reason of prestige mode.

Definatley Cod4.

there are several games such as free for all. where its just all against all deathmatch,, and more tactical games like team tac. which is 3v3, there is also search and destroy where you have to work as a team to destroy/defend the objective.

the game play is exellent and there are different rewards for weapons.. e.g get 150 kills you get an ACOG scope.

If you want a good multiplayer it would be Gears, but it's in the process of dying. So get Call of Duty4.Flamecommando

to say that Gears is dying is the same as saying that people hate video games. just plan stupid. lol...there are so many fresh gamers playing it, because of GOW 2. People want to know about it. Gears > COD4. why? cuz in gears when you get shot in the face, your head explodes. when you get hit with an explosive, you BLOW UP. not just fall to ground. lol...

but the story gameplay and online on halo 3 just beats it
