Whats the best shooting game you have ever played?

A tie between COD 4 & Bad Company 2. I must say that I play BC2 much, much more though so I guess I prefer that more.

CoD 2 and 4. 3rd person = Gears.

COD4 all the way. I racked up over 17 days play time online. I did the single player 3 times. That's a lot of gameplay but well worth it.

Gears of War 1, must have played it through 100 times. Halo CE, played through that 100 times also.

I don't play it that much anymore cause i played the crap out of it, but Gears of War 2 is my favorite.

STALKER Call of Pripyat. One of the best games of all time.

For multiplayer Call Of Duty 4. For Story/Campaign it would be Metal Gear Solid.

To the people who said that Goldeneye was and is the greatest shooter of all time, thank you. Goldeneye is and always will be the best shooter game of all time. It set the ground for future games with its incredible graphics of the time and essentialy marked the beginning of great games. Yes, Call of Duty and Medal of Honor are amazing games that are very popular with todays gamers, but Goldeneye was the top selling game of the era and is the icon of first person shooters. Without it, Bad Company, Modern Warfare, Medal of Honor would not even be close to the games that they are today. Goldeneye is the greatest, most epic shooter of all time...end of story.
