COD4, Timesplitters FP and 2 (Xbox 1),Rainbow six (the older games on the first xbox-not lockdown tho that sucked), Counterstrike (PC tho)
call of duty 4, I've put in so much time to that game lol..... Classic/older shooters haven't held up very well I gotta say, I put in goldeneye a few days ago and it was god awful compared to newer shooters.mohfrontline
its better to leave games like that in memory, otherwise it just ruins it
I dont understand why everyone loves CoD4 so much. Is it a great game? Yes. Does it make great progress as a shooter? Yes. Is it that fun to play? It can be. But CoD4 does not take hardly any skill at all to play. When you only need to hit someone with 3 bullets to drop them, its gets old really fast. The game is about 75% luck, can you see the enemy before they see you? and about 25% skill, aiming and some strategy is involved with the Perks. I just get sick of the game quickly though, same thing over and over again.
I would have to say that Battlefield: Bad Company is one of the best shooters I have played. It is the best in the Battlefield series, and a lot of fun to play. I think of it as an inbetween from Halo 3 and CoD4. Halo it requires almost an entire clip to take someone out (if your using an assualt or battle rifle), and that can get annoying having to fire a swarm of bullets to kill someone. Bad Company requires about 8-10 bullets depending on the weapon, which makes it much more fun, just enough to give the opponent a chance to fire back, but not too much to the point where you are having to fire an entire magazine. CoD4, too quick of deaths, Halo 3 - takes too much to kill, and B:BC, just right. Not to mention that BC's vehicles are very balanced, and the classes are all balanced as well. My major beef with BC is that it has a limited number of maps. We need more small maps for the game, especially on conquest. Most of the maps on conquest are huge vechicle-only based maps that are not very fun to play in my opinion. But all 3 of the above games are amazing in their own aspect, I just prefer BC over the other two.
Thats my two-bits.
I love the CoD series TMF 2 Is really good halo is fun with friends cause u can have 3 friends and live.

I've played it...and i have to say that it's a little out-dated, but still plays very well i guess.
cod series for the storyline and multiplayer. but fear 2 is just a plain fun game. it doesnt have a great storyline, but when it's in slow-mo it's awesome
To the people who said that Goldeneye was and is the greatest shooter of all time, thank you. Goldeneye is and always will be the best shooter game of all time. It set the ground for future games with its incredible graphics of the time and essentialy marked the beginning of great games. Yes, Call of Duty and Medal of Honor are amazing games that are very popular with todays gamers, but Goldeneye was the top selling game of the era and is the icon of first person shooters. Without it, Bad Company, Modern Warfare, Medal of Honor would not even be close to the games that they are today. Goldeneye is the greatest, most epic shooter of all time...end of story.
