What name for next gen Xbox?

Hi guys,

Xbox 360 had relation to circle, Xbox One wanted to be All-in-one and what about next Xbox?

Something with 4K or something else? What do you think? :)

On topic, I like Xbox Next. It’s forward/futuristic thinking, and it solidifies their position as a gaming mainstay.

Xbox anaconda should be called Xbox fusion

Xbox lockheart should be a 1080p tablet call Xbox surface

No idea, but MS need to think long & hard about how its next name can be abbreviated, as the Xbox One was a terrible name, and was abbreviated into ways that made it look stupid.

XTasy abbreivated XTC but wouldn't go over well because it sounds to much like the drug.

Can't be clever like sony in their naming routine.

Well they should of just of called the X a Scorpio, but no they went with Xbox One X, c'mon MS use your brains.

Up to now (For the people that don't know) The next gen xbox is being called Xbox Scarlett.

@wrecklessrush: We already know that as it's the code name for it, the final name needs to be well thought out and not something stupid like Xbox Two and the like.

XBox TWO. It sounded with ONE that it was a reboot, so logical to call it TWO now & don't confuse consumers. Sony is smart & calling it PS5 & MS should not do anything stupid to sway the sheeple boat & overthrow more sheep. Otherwise if no mandate for numbers, then call it XBox NoX in "XBox NoXclusives"

Microsoft can "pull a Nintendo" and call the 4th Xbox console the Xbox Revolution. The wait for Sony to launch first then undercut Playstation 5 by $100.00 Microsoft can survive the financial hit. Sony cannot. And Xbox scarlet is launching with a Halo game which saved the first Xbox.

Microsoft will most likely have a name for the console that will not make sense again.

Microsoft confirmed that the next-generation Xbox is currently being called “Scarlett,” and that it would launch in 2020.

The key word there is "currently" as that's it codename, its official name will probably be revealed at E3 next year.

Definitely won't be two I can see them using the Scarlett code name.

Xbox 10

Xbox 10-S (Pronounced Tennis)

It will copy Apple while at the same time be like Windows 10.

And when windows changes to Windows 11, Xbox will also change to Xbox 11.

OR

Microsoft just calls the Xbox by years.

Xbox 2020

Xbox 2021

Etc. Because changing the year every year is dumb and it is something Microsoft would attempt because “they don’t believe in generations” anymore and want to make it like cell phones.

It will probably be the last gen of Xbox's and they like confusing people, so why not? I use to love Xbox, but they seem to be moving away from console slowly.

After XO19 I don't really want to talk about MS and their bullshit right now, so yeah they should call it something stupid as it would match their decision making.

We all know the naming has been a bit convoluted, so personally I think they should keep it simple and go back to basics: call it Xbox 1 https://showbox.bio/ .

There's also the Nintendo way: New Xbox, that could work.
