Sonic Unleashed. Great and fun daytime levels but that was only like 30% of the game. The rest was with that boring repetitive werehog! I was also surprised that the Wii version came out as the better quality version. The 360 version had nice graphics but was boring, repetitive, and ridiculously hard! It took me weeks to get through only a few hours in the game while I have beaten the Wii version within a week! XD!

Dude that game is so amazing there is so much freaking stuff to do it's just you need to get used to it. It takes a good 2 hours to figure it out but if you give it a chance you'll love it. My opinion would have to be... Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed.I bought it and thought that it was too repetitive.It looked good and was fun for a bit,but it seemed that you kept doing the same things,you just did them in different cities.

I classify F3 as a hybrid,has aspects of both play styles.
mine would have to be the last remnant. the games story and battles looked soo epic from all the trailers, and then i played it. uh. unless you install the game (which takes 6 gig by the way) the game is basicly unplayable because of slowdown. then even if you do install it the battles are such a mess and the epic looking storyline boils down to another whinnig teenager looking for his captured sister.
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, and Halo Wars. With all the hype surrounding those two, I was let down. MK vs. DC was the worst game I've ever played since Ninja Bread Man fro the Wii. And Halo Wars, just didnt live it up. Its not a bad game, but it just dissapointed me.

It seems to me that everyone who didn't like Fallout are the people who went into it thinking they were going to get COD4 but in an open world. But the thing is, no one ever said it was an FPS. It was always marketed and talked about as an RPG. So if you were disappointed it's your own fault for not doing enough research or any at all.
Left 4 Dead was pretty disappointing. My friends kept hyping it and telling me to get it so we could play online. It grew very boring, very quickly. Just stand in a corner and continuously hit the melee button...
The last time I was disappointed by a game was in 1998, with Star Wars Rebellion. I was disappointed because I just went out and bought the game without reading reviews or doing my homework. Shame on me.

Seriously. You've got a game that's a sequel to an accalimed RPG series, made by a developer famed for making open-world RPGs...but some people were expecting a shooter. Why? I think when id Software publishes Doom 4, I'll be pissed about the lack of RPG elements. :roll:
Oblivion. Morrowind was possibly the best game I ever played, and I was looking forward to Oblivion a lot. But when it came out, they changed it too much for me to enjoy.

Actually you mixed the RPG and FPS parts around... it was supposed to be an RPG w/ a shooter feel. Me on the other hand think that Fable2 was a big letdown. The game was too hyped up and couldnt live up to the original. It was short and not much to do, but it was fun while it lasted.

They never will. I've never hyped a game besides obvious ones that through my own judgements would be great to me and i haven't bought one bad game this gen. I wish more people would actually research their games instead of blind buying duer to hype.
Gears 2. Gears 1 was my fav MP of all time then Gears 2 nerfed the shotgun removing that empowering feeling of being able to be one man against many and win! Not to mention all of the other glitches, if i had a dollar for everytime I spawned without a gun or a gun that couldn't fire I could have bought COD WaW.
Fallout 3, being a huge fan of the first two I had very high expectations. I played it for about 3 hours and now it has been sitting, collecting dust Deus Ex Invisible War, they could have improved on the first in so many ways, yet they took out so many things.

My opinion would have to be... Mass EffectWhat? But Mass Effect is great! In Fallout 3 there was almost too much to do, amazing game. Assassins Creed was disappointing. Mercenaries 2.
Resident evil 5 - like dont get me wrong i like the game but the bosses were too easy the only slight hard boss was Wesker and thats it

Pro Evo 2009. Okay, so I did like this series a fair bit. I didn't buy each game in the series but I really enjoyed it. So in comes PES09 and what's different? Nothing. Apart from the fact that controlling the ball is harder because the ball will bounce off you once you get to it, even if you aren't running. Then runnng feels robotic, it was just plain horrible.
FIFA 09 on the other hand, that is an amazing game.
