What are some games you regret buying for the 360?

FYI: The games I used as tags are just to get views, those are not games I regret buying.

im 13 and i dont regret buying the incredible hulk for 360, but.......... its just a game that is great but its not a bad game just cause destroying stuff is coolYeley718

I think there is a Hulk that came out for the original Xbox that might be better than the latest Hulk game.

Wow. I'm surprised to hear that. These games are dog cheap right now, I'll probably go pick them up today & expand my collection...except probably not Splinter Cell, just the other two.

At least you guys didn't buy something truly horrid, like EDF 2017. I paid $20 for it & it's the worst thing I ever paid for. Other games that I've rented were even more horrible: King Kong and FF:ROTSS.

Bioshock - An overrated FPS that I gave into the hype for. got it on PC, so i can't even sell it to Gamestop for a dirt cheap value.

Assassin's Creed - Too repetitive with no replay value, and I am NOT going back to collect flags for a few achievement points.

Crysis - Amazing visuals don't make up for several gameplay flaws and some seriously behind-the-times multiplayer.

Halo 3 - Mainly because at the time, games like COD4 and Eternal Sonata were out and I could have gotten something else instead. It also feels too much like Halo 2 in a bad way.

Halo 3. Gears of War. Conan. Oblivion.

The only game i like on my 360 is Halo 2...and that isn't even a 360 game. I still have hope for Fable 2 though.

I love EDF its a great old School Shooter but in a 3d world but i must admit it has little play back value. Good fun in the hardest Difficuly with a mate too,.

Worst games I wasted money on: Oblivion-game just didnt click with me, couldnt pick it up. Bought it over a year ago and played it couple times and havent touched it since then.

dead rising-one of the worst games i ever played on the 360. I only played $20 for it but that still was an epic ripoff to me.

Viva smegging Pinata... Aswell as AC, I wish I had rented that... Sonic the Hedgehog, and Lost Planet are games I bought and still haven't played twice....kamikaze_pigmy

ViVa Pinata is great its so relaxing.. like sim city with a little more color. I hated the darkness its annoying and really not my kinda game.

other people like it so i use it as a trade for other games from friends/ co-workers ect

completely. I spent $60 on that only because nothing else was out.

And I forgot to mention the most epically overhyped game that I wasted money on: Halo 3 Simulator_Shock

To be fair, to me, only the Halo 3 single player was terrible. The multiplayer was playable, at least, provided you turned on mute.

I have one SERIOUS REGRET game. And the nut at Gamestop that recommended it to me is off of my "Talk-To" list. He rated this so high.

It was the most stupendous game of the 21st Century. And on and on. I listened to him. sheesh...

Leave that one alone. Don't even rent it. That game was so bad I couldn't even finish it.

I took a loss on it when GS had a "Trade any two" games in, get ten dollars credit. I was glad to get that one out of my house. Boy, what a stinker that was.

Generally, I regret buying any game that isnt a big hit title. Games that scored decent to great ratings deserve a rent at best (scores ranging from 7.0-8.7). I will only buy a game that is epic, like Metal Gear Solid 4 or Gears of War. Pertaining to games that score 9.0 and up. Dont get me wrong though, I dont just go by review scores alone.

The game that I regret buying the most, is Ninja Gaiden 2. I was more disappointed about this game than Lair on the PS3. Yes, you heard right. I liked Ninja Gaiden Sigma (PS3) but NG2 didnt do anything new. Actually, it was a weaker game than Sigma and that's pretty sad for next-gen. Ninja Gaiden 2 was more repetitive than Assassin' Creed. I enjoyed Devil May Cry 4 a lot more than NG2 and I thought DMC4 was pretty average to solid.

I didnt imply they would be mad. I'm waiting for someone to say something to the tune of "PS3 suxors cuase of teh cr4ppy Hazes! 360 rul3Z!"

#1 Burnout Paradise- i need a game with a story... not just pulling up to a red light and smashign stuff

#2 Halo 3 for sure - just thought it would be better than the second one,but it wasnt.

#3 Battlefield 2- horrible and too hard

#4 Splinter Cell DA - i already got rid of this one.. i got rid of it early and i got good money for it... it was just bad

im on the boarder on Assasins creed... it will turn out to be a good series im sure.

and MOH Airborne- i love WWII stuff, and i loved this game at first.. but now going from COD controls and gameplay 2,3,or 4 to MOH Airborne its nothing comapred to COD series.

first... why would you buy all those games without renting them... i always rent the ones im not sure about, not just because their new im going to buy them...

and if i diddnt rent Gears of War before buying it.. id be stuck with it too. good call on that one

To the people who don't like oblivion, do you not like rpgs in general? I personally found it to be one of the best WRPG experiences I have had since EQ: RtA

UTTER FAIL.

Perfect Dark Zero. I played it about 80% through when I first got it, then finally figured out how to drag my XboX account to the 360 and stopped playing it. Over the years, I've tried a few times to pick it back up again, but by the second mission I'm bored out of my mind and i quit.

Oh, and I also regretted bying GTA4. I gave into the hype and bought it at midnight launch. I ended up trading it to my friend for his copy of DMC4.

I have 15 other 360 games that I don't regret at all though. :)

PS. I would have regretted GEARS too, but lucky me rented it first. It was fantastic, but way, way too short. I didn't like the multiplayer at all.
