I think its going to break down like this. Older gamers (ME) will go for something like COD4, thats darker and serious.

Yes that is correct. When I said "older gamers (me)" I meant that I am a 12 year old and that I suck at halo.

ill buy both but my vote goes to halo 3

I'm really tired of how in Halo's multiplayer your opponents all look the same as yourself and your teammates. I always thought that was a big weak point of Halo. I personally enjoy hunting down and shooting at different types of characters than a faceless robot-soldier looking guy.

Yes that is correct. When I said "older gamers (me)" I meant that I am a 12 year old and that I suck at halo.

CoD4 its trailer looked great and showed gameplay and change, to its formula of run&gun. Halo only showed tiny clips of singleplayer but no real change to whats been done before. Ill probably get both CoD4 first then Halo, simply because they actually tried something new and it looks awesome.

you are indeed correct COD4 will be made by infinity ward the guys who created COD2 game of the year, so you know it won't turn out crap like COD3

i actually enjoyed COD3 and believe it deserved the 8.8 it got from GameSpot so i know i'm gonna enjoy COD4 but yea COD3 was still pretty good IMHO!

the suspense of the ending is a huge part of halo three. it could have ended with two never happening.
