Yea, I'll get it eventually. Still playing Skyrim, though, and I dont need to start another 200 hour RPG.
Looks like its gonna be a really good game, though.

I played through Skyrim for over one hundred hours and loved it. I got Kingdoms of Amalur too and really like it. The games are different in so many ways. I think the combat in KoA is phenomenal, but the world is not as expansive. It's definitely not as much of a "hardcore" RPG as Skyrim is, but I enjoy that aspect of it.
Nope, it seems like a pretty good game, but as far as rpgs, all i need is skyrim, which i already have.
KoA is a flawed gem, but it's a gem none the less. I'm playing it right now and loving it. One word of warning, it gets off to a very slow, rocky start and doesn't come into its own until about 5-6 hours in. Don't write it off, give it some time, and I promise you'll be happy you did.
To those basing their decisions solely off the demo: don't. The demo was hastily thrown together by a third-party group using a dated version of the gameand the developers have been very clear about the fact that most of its issues were fixed for the final release. I can tell you from personal experience that this is true. They also didn't choose the most flattering section of the game for the demo. You owe it to yourself to at least try the full release before writing the game off.
I still don't have all of Skyrim achievements... and have 6 games waiting to be started on my shelve.
I may get this game but once I'm done with my games, which will probably be in 4-5 months....
