In the sig somewhere, and I had to make a knew account since Microsoft banned me for my dad canceling his credit card, so its only one year.
I got 40K so far if I did a perfect run and got all achievements for my games i would have like 90K. But thats crazy XD
I honestly have no idea. Occasionally I'll check the achievments in a game to give me things to do/shoot for that I might not normally think to do... but I don't keep track of my total score (or anyone else's for that matter). The only time I really pay attention to it at all is if I happen to notice I'm 50 points or something short of another five or ten thousand and I'll check for an easy achievment in the game I'm playing to bump it up. Not because I really care, but for something fun to do.
*checks sig after posting to see what my score is*
I have 5790 on my new account that I have had for just over a month, I had something like 20000 on my old account.

Agreed. People who don't care about gamerscores and/or achievements in my experience are not that good at video games.
I don't see how that is true, some people really just don't care, like me, I play a game and have fun with it, if I get achievements, great, if I don't then I still had fun, achievements have nothing do with skill.
On topic, its in my sig.
Funny, I got 10,000 yesterday. But to be honest, they're just a distraction. Is there a possibility to turn them off? The only times I actually care about them is when I look if there are any things in the game that might be interesting to do, like a wheelie.
@above Nice, all you have to do now is stop playing games o_O

True, except for some small cases where the person really just plays multiplayer and has all the achievements that do not require them to do some ridiculous stunt that has nothing to do with the normal gameplay. Like, "25 Unique Ways to Die". =P Which is what achievements really are...ridiculous things for gamers to do. And I love doing ridiculous things! 24081 is my gamerscore. About 50% of all the achievements that I can get out of all my games.I have 12345 gamerscore legit LOL!!! Im afraid to play any more games that could make that go away!jwhitmore12
Are you saying you are going to cheat for more somehow if you play more games?

That's very short-sided. There are very many people that play games solely because they want to have fun and couldn't care less about gamerscore or achievements as long as they are enjoying the games they are playing.

Some people don't have time or care enough to go through the whole game again for a couple of achievementsIt's in my sig but I just passed the 15k cap this past weekend when I went on a sorta gaming marathon and play some games I'd bought but hadn't gotten to play yet.

That was probably the worst thing I have read in years. You do know that certain people play games because they are fun correct? For being such a "pro" at achievements you have only gotten 100% 17 out of 94 games and only have a completion percentage of 41% that is far from impressive. I guess you just aren't that good at video games at least you admitted to it by your logic that is.Please Log In to post.
