I am 25. THIS IS A TRUNCATED, TRUE STORY:
Last year for my birthday this crazy stalker girl gave me my Xbox 360 Pro bundled with CoD2, a $400 gift card to Home Depot, and threw a party for me and all of my friends at California Pizza Kitchen. This is no lie...chick was crazy and loaded. But hey, I got a free 360.

lol , you must be hot :P j/k :P
I purchased my Xbox 360 along with an LCD HDTV, for Christmas. Yeah, a nice christmas gift to myself. Yippe. hehe. Seriously, I put off the Xbox 360 and HDTV for a long time. So, I decided to treat myself a little and what better to do it around Christmas time. I am 22 years-old.

My wife gave it to me for Christmas...30.
On a side note: we now have middle school graduations? And they are important enough for gifts?

one of my neighbors is 9 yrs old and he got his 360 when he graduated kindergarten 2 yrs ago lol so school is a bigger deal then we think these days...
I actually found the receipt for the 360 I bought back in feb 06 acouple of months ago while cleaning my closet and was shocked to see how much I spent on the bundle. $599.99 lol it was the pro system and the bundle included a wired controller, perfect dark zero, memory card and headset. I couldn't believe it. Guess I really wanted the damn system and if I remember correctly everywhere was out so I ended up purchasing it at some store called gameforce which closed down a year ago or something.
Along with the receipt I found the memory card and headset unopened which were in my closet for more than a year and I had totally forgotten about it. I was a happy man that day except when I saw how much I purchased all that for. I was 26 at the time of my first 360 purchase.
lol, she probably was hoping that you'd use the $400 home depot card to fix up her place. and she'd get some cheap labor out of you. Anyway, I'm 25 now, i bought my 360 with a combination of my 24th Birthday money and your tax dollars (G.I. Bill for school is pocket money after books and tuition are paid for.) Fall 2006 was a great quarter (Straight A's) and Winter break was even better!I am 25. THIS IS A TRUNCATED, TRUE STORY:

Mine was a wedding present. The alternative would have been a shotgun, so I don't know if I actually got a better deal or not. I play more than I shoot, but the shotgun would last a lot longer and not depreciate.drgradyGetting a shotgun for your wedding present is a bit disturbing. But maybe that's just a non-American point of view.

It's even odd for certain areas of America, but it is actually quite common in the mid-western states. The tradition is that the vast majority of the wedding presents are for the woman (cooking utensils, decorations, furniture, etc.), or are at least not things that the guy has any real interest in, so the groom's friends or father get one present specifically for the groom. That is commonly a gun, but often something else. My brother got a shotgun for his, and a close friend got a Glock for his wedding.

I did not get a gift 4 my "middle school" graduation (which was last year btw) All i got was permission 2 buy a cell phone. Just like my Bday present when I turned 13 was the ability 2 buy myself a Ipod video.

people hunt. I would have rather got a gun (not shotgun) mayb like a handgun cuz I just love 2 shoot them and theres a range in town.
