Halo MCC getting XOneX enchancements next year

Interesting confirmation on their Twitter channel earlier. Great news for big fans!

As announced today, work is underway on updates, fixes and Xbox One X enhancements for Halo: The Master Chief Collection – coming in 2018.

This fall, run your own Halo 5 dedicated local server on your Win10 PC for in-person events – from epic tournaments to basement brawls.

Attention all units! Crossplay between Xbox One consoles and Win10 PCs is coming to Halo Wars 2 later this year!

Im guessing just a resolution update for the MCC. I would rather see them being Spartan Strike to the console before doing any work to other past games.

@Black96Z:Yeah I'm not expecting anything substantial considering the age of the package, but it's a nice assortment of vintage games, of sorts(especially H1 - 2), and any graphical enhancements will be a nice little bonus when I get the urge to play through them again.

I do hope they bring Spartan Strike over one day, I enjoyed the first game and would like to see the 2nd one ported as well.

The new matchmaking system will be a welcome addition

Good to hear they are still updating it. Looking forward to the upgrade, but the game still has a lot of issues to solve. Matchmaking is still pretty slow.
