That there will be a Halo4 isn't a rumour it's a fact. No way in hell would Microsoft let one of their biggest cash cows die. You want to start a rumour start naming off dates.

ehh they might stop with the direct sequels for a while but there defiantly not gonna stop making halo games when it is the xboxs best selling series.They might do what gta did cuz gta had a big gap between 3 and 4 but they still made gta. TBH i hope they dont make another shooter halo for a while because i really like the halo universe and i dont want it to be seen as a mindless shooter and i really liked halo wars so i hope they try new things.

As far as I am concerned, they can make Halo 4 all they want. I just want the people saying that they are so called milking the franchise. as I recall 3 games or even 4 isn't milking the franchise. Now if they we all the same. then i understand,and if they were on Halo 10 also very understandable. I just don't understand how 3 or 4 games is milking a series...
lol, you know what ive heard rumours theres going to be a halo 5 and gears 4... with no evidence i dont think it can be even called a rumour, just cause a few kids say something on a forum doesnt make it a rumour

Good thinking, but, id much rather see kotor3, ME2 or aliens:crucible.
of course we do all wish Bungie would tell us some kinda thing about a said Halo 4, instead of just leaving it floating in there air. The game isn't a dead horse, if they truly wanted to end the Trilogy of halo ....then they would have killed Masterchief, but he didn't die, so therefore we can only wait to see what Bungie will eventually take the few minutes out of there life to tell us whats gonna happen. Not too worrie about it though. They should just hurry and do something cause i know alot of people who are getting sick of playing Halo 3.

this has to be the stupid topic types out there. big game =more of them no question about it. small game= maby other game. game that bad=very high chance wont be other unless the company is rich.
like 4real look at gta it's a billion dollar ideal in rockstar hands.. do u think it would just end the game and just stop making them? when they stop making profits on gta then they will stop.

Your a bit late on the band wagon arent you? theres been rumours of halo 4 since halo 3 hit the shelves, but to be honest I have serious doubts that we'll actually see a halo 4. I mean what is there to do? The human-covenant war is over, the flood is pretty much stuffed, the covenant is broken, the halo's have all been located etc etc etc.
I mean come on what exactly is left to be covered in a halo game? not including spin off's obviously :) I would bet my next years worth of wages that there will be bucket loads of them.

they did leave it open at the end of the 3rd game and microsoft wont let one of there biggest games die out, i bet they will keep it under the radar and save it for a launch title for the next xbox
