Goodbye COD 4... Hello BF:BC

COD is okay but i'm itching for something with a realer feel to it, my salvation has arrived, just check this out if haven't followed the news much.

Note all the screaming in the background. usually in games, a voice from far away just sounds like he's basically inside ur ear but the volume is lowered, now it actually sounds like guys shouting in the distance, GTA IV did this very well 2.

Lookin' good. Even more gameplay vids there so enjoy it like I did.

I should mention that the Battlefield series never appealed to me, I haven't played even one of them, this is why this one caught me by surprise.

Please don't buy it. Its a game that takes actual skill to play. One less piece of fodder I have to mow through.

Same, I've been done with CoD4 for a few months now. The game is so boring now, I want to rip my eyes out.

CoD4 didn't even deserve the score it got. But I'm going off of IGN's 9.4, don't remember what GS gave it.

COD4 is definitely getting stale on me, I can't wait for BF:BC.

I already have my reserved copy waiting for me. :D

problem is, BF:BC is only gonna have one multiplayer mode, so it'll get so old so fast it'll made your head spin.cheames748

It was origionally only going to have one multiplayer mode, goldrush, but after the beta the team is adding the classic conquest mode as a free download shortly after release.

And whats with all the hating on the beta? I never had connection issues or lag, and I use a DSL modem. Maybe its time to bury that 56k paperweight. I've said it before, if you played the beta and thought it sucked, stick with your nade spamming CoD4 and let those of us with skills keep BF.

Meh.. the Beta was really dissapointing to me. I thought this game would finally get Battlfield right on the consoles, but it just wasnt very good. Mind you it was a beta and not the full game, so i will definatly try it when it comes out, but its not a game ill pre-order or get the first day its out. The PC versions of battlefield are just so much better imo.

Im looking forward to Enemy Territorys: Quake Wars and Ninja Gaiden 2 though (ET:Quake Wars is a heck of alot of fun on pc, and i cant wait for the 360 version to play with friends. The game has such amazing team based gameplay imo, and really is the best battlefield type game IMO)

Probably will just be playing Vegas2, COD4, Team Fortress 2, GRAW 2 and soon ET:Quake Wars as far as shooters go on the 360 in the future.

looking forward to that demo..

was in the beta, and was pumped for this game.. but i was really let down by the beta.. don't even really know why. (i did have REAL high expectations from this game though. was one of the games i bought a 360 for)

man this game is gonna own.

i think i'll trade in the orange box soon in preparation for its awesomeness.

assuming they make the servers good this time around.

How is a game where you are in some random country killing random enemies for gold realistic?

I meant the combat, I don't care about the story. It's a combat shooter.
