reviews no longer matter to me. reviewers only nitpick on little details, which seem to only heighten my awareness of them. they dont focus on the good. as well, review scores arent accurate. i think a 5.0 should be the bench mark for an average game, not 7.5. 7.5 should equate to a great game, 9.0 really really great and 10 amazing (no game is going to be perfect so the best games out there should be awarded 10s, it should be reserved for the perfect game which will never arrive both because of the process of video game creation and because reviewers nitpick over the tiniest things) just played the game, enjoy it, and skip reviews altogether. i will admit a score can be a good indicator of quality but thats the only good thing reviews supply.
