Icon makes NXT redemption watchable
*The following happens on NXT- Titus O' Neil vs Derrick Bateman is going on the ring. As the crowd is in their usual dreary little NXT phase. Titus O' Neil is heeling it up as usual and is back to go for a cover. Though Derrick Bateman counters and changes up the momentum almost scoring a victory. Just then a voice is heard
Icon: Just do what I paid you to do
Staff in Production truck: You don't understand we're not allowed to do that! we'd be violating company policy and we're not aloud to interfere with television broadcast. * A swift thwack is heard as the camera suddenly cuts to the production truck to show Icon standing over the now unconscious members of the production team with a steel baseball bat in hand*
Icon: Moron, I was doing you a favor. You should've listened...
Icon: I'm sure all of you tuned in to watch the usual fast pace, hard hitting, jaw dropping this show has to offer right?! *laughs a bit sarcastically* Well unfortunately that's all been canceled! see at great expense to us we decided to spread a little class, a little dignity. A little substance to this dreary little Wednesday night telecast. And give you something that people could actually give a damn about. I shouldn't have to tell you who I am anymore! you should see my face and that should just register! it registers that my face is one you never want to forget.
That my voice is one that when I speak? my words tune your ears to the speaker. In case you're just behind on the times and you missed it one of the greatest things that could ever happen in the WOTU has indeed happened. A MEGA Faction, a Stable, a Team, a Union, a dynasty, a Group! or maybe just forget all of the names and call us the biggest revolution to EVER hit this business in its history! call us whatever you like but on this past edition of Smackdown. They say that great minds think alike, and all of us noticed something. We all noticed one thing that we have in common and thats that each and every single of us are the very best this business has to offer. The Creme de la creme! and purest bred
We also noticed that we're all hungry, we're all hungry for just a little more than the hands we've been dealt here! Fear not though. Because everybody is being put on notice that we've got everything thats worth anything in this entire company! Killer has already been a world champion! do any of you know what that feels like? do you know what it means. It means that no matter what happens, no matter how many raises you get at work. No matter how many times you get the girl you've been chasing for 8 years to finally consider going for a coffee date with you, no matter HOW many times you screw up in your own life but you're rewarded for it without deserving it.
None of that can hold a CANDLE to being the world champion. And THAT is only the tip of the iceberg on the laundry list of things he has accomplished in his career. And you all should be thanking GamerGuy you should be thanking him for bringing a once beloved title BACK into being entertaining, BACK into being relevant. On the long long list of the Santino Marellas, The Godfathers, The Val Venis's who've held that title and dragged it down into their depths of failure and irrelevancy. One man has risen above! and he's brought back some prestige to the title, he's brought back some honor and virtue to the title! he's become the kind of champion that you all can feel proud to say you rally behind *As the crowd boos loudly*
and then we have one of the brightest prospects of this business! one of THE stand outs, one of the guys to watch before you know it? he's going to be the one turning this entire franchise on its back. He's better than the Cody Rhodes, the Ted Dibiases, the Dolph Zigglers all of those guys are nothing more than 1 note flashes in the pan. But Ckyguy is going to be one of the biggest damn things to hit this business and ALL of you can bank on that! but before you get too carried away you forgot yours truly! you can all that me!
thank me because I liberated the X-Divison Championship I saw that place that it was headed and it was an ugly place! it was headed for the crippling depression of irrelevancy, the unmistakable sent of being non existant... worthless..... thats the ONLY thing it was destined for when BigEvil won the title. I saved it though! I saved you! because I brought it back I brought it back into the light, back onto the shoulder of a man who actually treats it like it matters! just by winning it I made it worth something again! I spiked the ratings!
and you can also thank me for the fact that every damn time i grab one of these microphones. I treat your minds to something so rich! so worthwhile that it leaves you in sheer euphoria! whenever you had a crappy day at work you can just tune to watch me. And I make everything right in the world again, I take all of the pain away. And the best part of all! Its all free to you! I should be charging you for my tutelage! my life lessons! my words of wisdom! but i don't. I give it all to you for free because thats the type of man I am.
I'm so generous that each and every week I extend myself! I allow all of you to live vicariously through me! * As the crowd boos even harder. We already have 2 of the titles in the WOTU both the X-Divison title and the intercontinental title belong to VIP. Killer will win the WOTU Championship that is already set and locked! and its only a matter of time before Ckyguy is wearing gold as well. So if you don't like that? Thats just nobodys but YOUR problem because that is the future we're laying out and giving back to the WOTU universe! complimentary!
Icon: Now Excuse me, these dumbasses at the door are starting to demand I give them control of the production truck so since I'm feel pretty freaking good. I may as well accomodate right? Besides you guys don't just wanna watch me on the titantron! you wanna see me live! It's like an early christmas so dont go anywhere! don't adjust those dials because The Icon has ANOTHER treat for his loyal fans.

*As Icon walks through the backstage area on his way to the ring- passing by NXT wrestlers in the back
Icon: None of you touch me, as a matter of fact stay the hell away from me. I don't want any of your lackluster lives, and your complete lack of dignity to spread. Becuase it spreads like cold germs. As a matter of fact can I get a damn escort to the ring?! I'm not sure what exactly is going around in these backstage halls but whatever it is. It's like a plague. Just look at some of the stuff on this show. Some of the so called wrestlers
*as Icon forces escorts to walk beside him as he makes his way out to the ring. Passing by several other personell and wrestlers as he instructs for them to stay away from him and keep a distance*
* Just then "We are One* blares through the arena as Icon makes his away out onto the stage. Dressed up in a suave tuxedo and with one of the biggest grins he can muster as he makes the security escort him all the way to ring side*
Icon:Its amazing. Even though I didn't touch anything I still feel the need to scrub myself! *As You suck chants start up loudly* If I suck, you swallow. Now shut the hell up and let me finish. As I was saying! before I was so rudely interrupted! this is a completely different era for the WOTU. A new day and we are the ones carving it out! when its all said and done we will be the ones to go down in history as defining an era of our own.
My Twitter has been blowing up, my fans, my friends, guys I work with. Everyone has been asking me the question " Why Icon? "Why?" why did you turn your back on the fans who've been loyal to you! on your friends. And my answer is really pretty simple. I never did. I never turned my back on them because I was NEVER one of them! I never embraced them! I was NEVER Pro the WOTU universe I tugged on their heart strings and I toyed with their emotions. And you know something? I'm VERY proud of that. *Boos begin to rain in thicker*
Do you know those strikingly handsome actors the ones who can do seemingly everything? they've got the trophy wife, the car, the house. Everything you can think of! and then some! The ones that can make you hate them at the drop of a hat but at a moments notice can make you love them? and cheer for them? Thats what you can think of me as! I got all of you guys behind me! i came out here week in and week out! and I made the cheesy
DR Phil wanna be speeches about staying motivated and doing the right things in life! I did all of that to prove that I'm the multi talent! I'm one of the greatest heroes of ALL time! and yet with every ounce and fiber of your being it only takes me mere minutes to make you hate me! and that really speakes volumes about who I am! it speaks volume about my talent! I made your moms tear up and get all wide eyed as they listened to me! as I inspired! i motivated! I captivated worldwide! again I did all of that just to prove how good I am to myself. That my skills go beyond 1 dimensional abilities! And just to drive my point home! I brought a little parting gift-
