My personal favorite of all time is Deus Ex

the game was way ahead of it's time with all of it's gameplay mechanics

hell i played this game in 2005, 5 years after it's release and it still managed to become my favorite game of all time...that's saying something

Metal gear solid along with ninja gaiden has some of the best boss fights in a game. Don't get me wrong i like Mgs3 because it's a little different from the rest. But in no WAY possible does it have better boss fights than MGS1. It's ludacris to even say that.On the other hand of the flip coin MGS1 in my opinion is also better than MGS3 but not by much atleast.

I just can't see how you can compare The End, The Sorrow and Volgen to even Gray fox. I know these aren't all the bosses but by far the most boring ones out of the lot. Volgens just a fist pumper, who looks like he should be in the fanatastic 4 and not MGS at all. And you can skip The end like he's not even a boss. And with sorrow, all you do is walk your way down a stream with ghosts in it.

In MGS you have Revolver Ocelot, Liquid snake and REX as your priority boss fights. The End,Sorrow and Volgen are dust compared to these. On top of that you have the minor ones like Raven,Sniper Wolf, Gray Fox. All on par in my opinion with The Boss from Mgs3. Then, THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN, you have one of the best boss battles in a game. Almost every where you go in top lists of "Best video game boss battles." there will always be Psycho Mantis.

Let's not even forget to mention that there is no MetalGear boss battle in MGS3. It's more like a massive truck with wheels on it.

And dare i mention that every single character in the first MGS is completley superior to the ones in MGS3. Excluding BigBoss and Ocelot himself. Oh and ofcourse, Zero.

In no way am i saying MGS3 is a bad game because it's one of the best games on the playstation 2. It makes most modern day games look like a big pile of sick. But god help you cannot place it above MGS1. You just can't man it's not right. Not even the subsitence edition.

I like the use of camo and weapons in MGS3 compared to MGS1. But the story and characters revolving around shadow moses is better. Especially the characters. Even the F'n Darpa cheif is better than The End from MGS3.

Oh and i saw your list on MGS4 having the best boss battles out of the franchise. Which is also ludacris. All of them are taken from aspects of MGS1 and none of them are unique. Screaming mantis compared to psychomantis!? Pffffffffffft. GET OUT!! Raging raven compared to Vulcan raven?!! THERE IS SICK EVERYWHERE!!. You might aswell just stick a jetpack on all of the bosses apart from Ocelot in MGS4, and tell me they're better. Which is exactly what they did. They just revamped previous bosses with laser guided missles and a few gadgets. And then they put a beautiful face on them. Typical japanese.

It's more like:

1. MGS1
2. MGS3
3. MGS4
4. MGS2

I haven't even played the games on the PSP such as peacewalker so i wouldn't know.

I think you'll find The Boss and psychomantis are in most top 10's.

Any Top 10 Boss Battles, should just be a list of Boss Battles from the MGS series.

I was playing on normal (or whatever they call it), so it just took me about 30 minutes, which included his health replenishing.

I got lucky cause I kept catching him by the river and just beat the s*** out of him.

Super Mario World has soft in my heart. First game with my first game system. Up until that point, I would have to leach from my older brother's NES.

Also, Super Mario RPG. For about 4 or 5 days straight, I mathron the s*** out of that game.

With Zelda, it's The Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past, and/or Majora's Mask.
