What do you like about Kratos, that know other video game character has?

Kratos has to be, to me, the King of Badass video game characters out there, I mean there are tons like Ryu Hayabusa could come close, but Kratos is the most awesome and unique character by far.Dusty114

I wonder how much angrier Kratos is going to be in this, i would be to if i was the god of war and then get backstabbed by the gods especially when one of them made me the next god of war. Its like the gods kind of set Kratos up, but didnt expect him to be able to kill Ares.

Twice as angry! And in god of war III he will be three times as angry!

It's mostly what he LACKS that I love about him:

-LACKS empathy, compassion, annoying love interest, mercy, sense of humor, remorse *outside of deeds done in servitude to Ares*, stupid taunts and girlish figure (esp. hair)

-IS ruthless, brutal, demented, haunted, furious, ingenuitive, RAW, barbaric, going to kill a lot of people, pitiless...he's a mortal turned god through killing a god.

~He dual wields Sword/Axe Blade that burn with the fires of Hades whilst being attached by chains seared to his wrists/forearms..plus when you kill people with Kratos you actually feel like you're killing someone in comparison to games where the enemies CAN'T be evicerated or explode into dust (unless a cutscene allows for the contrary...where they can now chop people in half..that's not very brutal at all when it is so clean cut...it's a bad day when that bores you)

As for me it'll be Heihachi Mishima, He got tough attitude and fearless mind!, much similar to Kratos.

There are two reasons why I Love Kratos: 1. He isn't young. 2. He isn't a ninja. If a hero in a videogame is either of the two things above, I tend not to like them. Which is why I hate every Final Fantasy character in existance (well, there's a bit of a loophole for FFVIII because I found them to be far more believable). I think the only person who really comes close to matching Kratos on the badass scale is Max Payne.Guest_1001

Well Max Payne is not as badass as the runner up for the most badass character ever.  SOLID SNAKE man!  Solid Snake is the most badass character to come out of a japanese game.  The rest are like fruity 10 year-old little boys along the lines of the dudes from Final Fantasy games.  Solid Snake is right below Kratos on the badass ladder.

Kratos is the son of Zues, Kratos' mom had a spell put on her, if she ever told Kratos. Dusty114

ok, that's why I don't know about it. God mode was just to hard for me so I never passed the game in god mode. Thanks for the info
