Bob's 30 and still lives with his mom
And he don't got a job, cause Bob sits at home and smokes pot
But his twelve-year old brother looks up to him an awful lot
And Bob likes to hang out at the local waffle spot
And wait in the parkin lot for waitresses off the clock.
¬Hopefully at least Mr CC will get that...
MrLucifer: Mr. Shady will be your new substitute, while Mr. Kaniff is out with pneumonia
Riningan: Excellent. Weird Al is always amusing, throw a Dylan parody into the mix and you have WIN.
Did anyone else see the Simpsons episode where Homer invented Grunge? Jankovich parodyin Nirvana, brain freeze...?

Mr-Lucifer
I get it.
Kuro:I own Dead Space, and I found it to be a delightful game. Creepy, well-paced, beautiful, etc. I say the best way to enjoy it though, is to watch other people play it in the dark. It is truly delicious to be watching, then start giggling to yourself when a particularly scary part is coming up. Or simply saying nothing to help them, then when they get their nuts bitten off you laugh histerically. A piece of advice, for the most part, the flamethrower and pulse rifle are crap. They have a few limited uses, and they work well in those specific places, specifically large boss fights for the pulse rifle. But the ripper is your best friend. It is easily the best weapon in my opinion. Always keep a power node in your inventory for the doors that can only be unlocked with them.
optiow and Kuro:Chains is easier than the console versions overall. But that is not to say that there are a few tough spots, and things that will take practice. Specifically Persephone, she is very hard on a God mode NUR+. Charon is also annoying, and the temple before Persephone is reminiscent of the ER, though there are checkpoints and more chests, it is in a confined space, and some of the enemies are quite tough. Though as either MrSK or MrCC pointed out, the GoZ is broken. Extremely powerful and immensely satisfying, it will be your best friend, teacher, and lover once you get it.
QFT. We help therefore we are.
There is a dedicated "helpdesk" thread somewhere. The latest thinking on the matter seems to favour individual "progress" threads. I like it that way.
Kuro: Persephone will crush you and throw you into the wind. Despair while you can.
optiow: As the "gent" said. For now we keep to 'individual' threads. The helpdesk was for when there was quite a lot of regulars asking for 'basic' help. We aren't even talking 'Very Hard' settings oftentimes. It is our current preference that we stay as we are...and user focused help threads lead to Specialty runs on 'Very Hard'...makes it all worthwhile for some of us
~Even if we open the floodgates and allow all these new users..it is unlikely we'll have a host of new threads within even the current 'rules'..because they'll be closed/deleted. (also dedicated users aren't that easily obtained) All should start with the Introduction (read the rules)...then work from there
Optiow, my good man, there are many things that I would call you...
As for your dedication, time will tell. The signs are good, sure enough you post frequently but you have not been a member for two months yet. You joined on November 15th, did you not?
Members come and go. **** happens. Dedication goes beyond that.
Do you have TUGOWU mindset. Tricking the Hammer?
~Just curious, why am I below MrL? For GoW1 I will admit I'm the least well-versed on the boards, even Optiow is above me. But for GoWII I think I should at least be on the same tier as he is. I'm not being argumentative or competitive here, but going on pure information, I have completed one more run than he has in that game. Plus, no offense to MrL (he'll probably take it as a compliment), I believe I'm somewhat more patient with people who can't seem to get a point. Perhaps that's a reason in itself to have me advising those at a lower level (which I am entirely fine with), but just for the "tiers" of advice-giving I believe I should be placed in the same category.
With a tier like that the 'high level' assists I'll be doing will be for the 'tutors' themselves more often then not.
~It is an interesting suggestion though...
Interesting theorewm Mr Alucards. I can't help thinking that you suggested it merely out of devilment, putting the cat amongst the pigeons.
Personally I dislike the idea, everyoine like sto help and all have slightly differing playstyles. The more advice anyone gets the more likely they are to find something applicable to them.
It is possible that you have done more GOWII runs than him. I cannot for the life of me remember the runs that you or MrL have done, though I'm pretty sure neither of you have done real specialty runs, correct me if I'm wrong.~Just curious, why am I below MrL? ~I think it's a valid way to handle new members if we ever get them in large numbers. Everyone could of course give advice wherever due, but with a lot of members it would be a way to make sure they get their advice quickly. I also like the idea of having an apprentice.
Optiow: I've only done GoW1 on Easy mode
