Finishing up GoW1 VH PAIN from CoH with Tid.  I left off at just after Atropos with your GoWII VH PAIN+.  Lucas and Bruce are still side-lined.  Wulf will come before them.  Adel, Taz and others have nothing new for me to see, so I'm caught up on those fronts. 

Who are Lucas and Bruce?  Anybody of interest either skill- or student-wise?

My PAIN is coming along nicely, but you've got some time before it's done.  My latest delay is a non-plume approach to the desert kings.  Only need to land 42 (s,t) combos to O. 126 (s,t) combos to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them.

I don't know Bruce, but I know Lucas(aacglucas).

Actually, I've seen it. And I don't know how you were saying that I'm not up to challenge runs? If I'm not, then certainly you're not. More, I've watched some of GoWI NUR and I wish I hadn't. But who cares? You've improven, didn't you?

Yeah, my NUR was terrible.  Luckily I was given some good advice, practiced a bunch, and improved.

My PAIN run isn't perfect either, but it's much improved over my NUR.  If you have any actual advice for me to improve, please, do share.

If you just wanna whip out our dicks and see whose is bigger, I'll pass.  I'm sure you're rock-hard at the concept and I can't even muster up a pity-twinge, so I don't see the point.

I don't talk like I'm the bigger one in your videos, I talk as if I have some specific knowledge that you do not.  I then proceed to share that knowledge.

I don't believe I ever directly commented on the videos in a way that would insult your play or question your ability to do the run.  If I did, let me know specifically where and I will delete it.  The comments of your videos aren't where our disagreement should be played out, and I would agree that it's not cool if I'm putting you down there.

The final time I will restate my point:  I don't care about the level of play in your videos.  I'm not calling you bad, but there are things about the game that you do not know.  My comments were intended to expose you to this knowledge.  You can use it, or not, but at least it's up in your head there somewhere.  You can disagree with it and provide counterpoints as to why you went with your current method, that's fine.

But you should not be doing a challenge run of the game if you think it's stupid and have no desire to improve.

You're just changing your words. You're interested in speedrun, I'm not. I said before that speeding up my run isn't my concern, and it doesn't show that you've mastered the game.

Is your shame over getting hit so great that anybody noticing is a threat to your manhood?  If you trip while walking down the street, do you demand your friends look away until the shame has passed?

You screwed up, you got hit, everybody moved on without even giving it a second thought except for you.  Those comments were so harmless that they didn't even register in my long term memory that you could possibly care about them.

It can, but not so much if isn't the point.  I prefer combat efficiency, but I can change the focus over to safety with an emphasis on skill-less play.  Usually that's via the realm of the exceedingly cheap.  Something I'm somewhat known for, I imagine.

I do that with Rubikant all the time for his DD(DA) videos.  Just commentary in that case.   I don't have the same position with that title as I do with GoW.  Though I've done these sort of comments to tease the gent and others in the past.  Pretty sure even Taz and Shin have had a few of those put their way.  Giving each other s*** is the nature of TUGOWU.  Largely because it is my nature and those that disagreed with my ways have long since left (losing influence).  Some take to it poorly.  Most vets don't mind it and even admit to messing up while having a laugh about it.  But then, I suppose they notice I'm not cutting with any malice.  Thus, 'having a go'.
