Perfect day for a day off. Just chillin' at home on an unusally warm November day, watching TV, and shopping for Blu-Ray deals online. The holidays are the best time to buy movies, tv shows, and anime. :D

For the most part yeah, just because you don't have to deal with messy crowds. Given that I have to work the sales floor though, I can "hide" a few movies and games until my shift is over and claim some good deals. I'm looking to get Borderlands 2 for $35.

In all honesty I keep hearing people say every CoD game is the same as the last, its a shooter, WHAT could you change to make it different? A shooter is a shooter is a shooter they all have the same function, aim, shoot and repeat. I see that with every FPS so saying CoD is the same game everytime is stupid.

All games can be considered repetitive if you break them down to key components. CoD games to me "feel" similar, like "hey, I feel like I've done this before" (Especially when it comes to the campaign).

Killzone, for example, may be a shooter like CoD, but the weighty-ness of the characters and shooting mechanics set a different tone. You're right about trying to make an fps different, the only recent one that put a creative spin on it is the Borderlands series. Otherwise Fps's typically share a similar frame.

@Urahara-I considered that series more horror than action until RE4 came out, before that it was survival horror tbh lol

@Prinze-I guess I can understand that viewpoint when you take into account the enemies you fight, especially in the MW series. The only FPS games I've seen change things up was FEAR with its slow down time ability and Half-Life where you actually have to use your brain to figure it out. Not saying CoD needs to give people the ability to slow down time, make people think a little? Yeah I think it needs that to a degree. But despite all that, I agree with you on FPS' being similar.

Those changes were sorely needed imo. How many more years would people tolerate a static camera, bad controls and an annoying save system? I agree that it has changed but to me if it didn't the RE series would be another franchise Capcom screwed up in addition to their fighting games.

$1.50 for real popular and newly release. You don't have to return the movie until 9 p.m. the next day. I used to go to the theater for $1.50. I'll save money. Anyone wondering what gangnam style is or means?
