I don't think you should lump the different gens together. The PS1 nd 2 controllers were good, but the PS3 one is VERY bad. And there is no similarity between the wii and wii U controller. The xbox 360 controller is also much different from the regular xbox one.
fix it
The PlayStation controllers are so similar it's best to include them all.
The Xbox 360 controller doesn't seem much different from the Xbox controller to me.
The Wii one may be true, but they both use the original Wii controller. I figured it would be best to include them both since they use the same controllers, the Wii U just adds the tablet thing.
I'll edit it, but the "PS3 one is VERY bad," thing doesn't make sense to me. Yes, there were complaints on the right and left trigger buttons, and the issue of pressing the PlayStation button on accident, but it isn't bad. It's nearly exactly the same as the PS2 controller.
I agree with this, the Xbox controllers are changed slightly, but its not like going from say a SNES pad to a Gamecube pad, and the PS3 controller is hardly different other than the trigger L2/R2 buttons, which, if you ask me, were an improvement. The Wii/Wii U argument is valid, but like bugbag said, both still use the same controllers, Wii U just adds the tablet thingy.
