With the release of the Wii U, I thought it was only appropriate we make the next weekly poll revolve around game controllers! I have narrowed down the massive list of controllers to four. The keyboard, PlayStation, Xbox and Wii controllers are the most popular so they automatically earn themselves a spot on the list. If you have something else in mind please vote for 'other', and specify your answer in the post.

Winner of the Last Poll: Which Game Interests You the Most This Month?-Halo 4

The Official PlayStation 1/2/3 controller for me. I hate keyboard controls, I don't like the reverse analog/dpad of the Xbox controller and it feels clunky in my hands, I don't really care for the Wii controller, and the Wii U's doesn't look to please me either. Then again, I have played PlayStation since the beginning, and my hands are practically molded to fit that controller, so that may have something to do with it.

I don't think you should lump the different gens together. The PS1 nd 2 controllers were good, but the PS3 one is VERY bad. And there is no similarity between the wii and wii U controller. The xbox 360 controller is also much different from the regular xbox one.

fix it

The PlayStation controllers are so similar it's best to include them all.

The Xbox 360 controller doesn't seem much different from the Xbox controller to me.

The Wii one may be true, but they both use the original Wii controller. I figured it would be best to include them both since they use the same controllers, the Wii U just adds the tablet thing.

I'll edit it, but the "PS3 one is VERY bad," thing doesn't make sense to me. Yes, there were complaints on the right and left trigger buttons, and the issue of pressing the PlayStation button on accident, but it isn't bad. It's nearly exactly the same as the PS2 controller.

I agree with this, the Xbox controllers are changed slightly, but its not like going from say a SNES pad to a Gamecube pad, and the PS3 controller is hardly different other than the trigger L2/R2 buttons, which, if you ask me, were an improvement. The Wii/Wii U argument is valid, but like bugbag said, both still use the same controllers, Wii U just adds the tablet thingy.

^It's good to see someone agrees with me about the R2/L2 triggers! I think they're a big improvement over the PS2's triggers because they kept getting stuck.:P

I went ahead and edited it so we don't have to debate it anymore. I'm sure people who like the Wii controllers will pick the Wii U, same with the 360 and PS3. It shouldn't complicate things.

well it is, you put in instructions in it for a game, a controller does the same thing. A keyboard has the use to be more than just a controller

I didn't think you were actually going to fix it. :|

I honestly can not stand the PS3 controller whenever I play it at my friend's house. Yes, my only complaint is the triggers, but they ruin the whole thing. It feels so awkward! :o

I prefer the 360's controller, because to me it feels like it is made perfectly to fit in your hands. Other controllers leave empty space between your hand and the controller and it's just not the same

@Kman I have all my opinions right here!

PS3-If you have big hands, the controller is very uncomfortable.

Xbox 360-If you have little hands, the controller is very uncomfortable.

Keyboard-You need about 130 fingers to use the thing.

Wii U-Go pick up your television. It's basically the same thing.

:P

... you counted? :|

I'm not sure if its a big hand/ small hand thing. I think its just getting used to it. The one you use more, you will like more.

Still, PS1 had the best controller :P

I have to go with the DS3. I have been gaming on PS all my life so it was an obvious choice. The Sega Megadrive controller is great too.

Agree with the NES, that was such a simple and yet great controller. Personally, I liked the N64 pad more than the Gamecube one.

I love the N64 controller, but it's a bit clumsy.:P It's like a controller you see in one of those space movies.

I forgot all about the classic NES controller! :o

Those things were great :)

I did not like the N64 controller, though. It was too big and inconvenient.

It was a huge controller, but there was something really cool about it. It was ridiculous, and that's why I consider it one of my favorite controllers.

Gotta agree with that, just look at the thing, it had to be designed by three-handed aliens or something.
