Game of the Year Nominations and Discussion

This year, we're introducing a new spin on our Game of the Year award. We will nominate no more than 15 games, split them into different polls, and let them battle it out until we narrow down the field. Then we will have our final round shortly before New Years.

I nominate Dishonored, Mass Effect 3, and Assassin's Creed 3.

Also, this thread doubles as a Game of the Year Discussion thread, so if you want to discuss gamespot's Game of the Year, this is the place to do it.

This year blows. I can't even name three worthy games, so I'm just gonna screw around.

There were a lot of great movies this year.  Maybe we should also have a movie of the year :P

Halo 4's would be better if the maps were good. A lot of the maps are pretty poor, and the loadout system, while cool at first, starts getting on your nerves.

I think 4's is better with the crimson map pack, but 3 comes in a close second. 

There were a lot of great movies this year. Maybe we should also have a movie of the year :P

Depends on how many movies people would vote for. I think a poll should be able to have as many as we need, but I'm not certain
