So awesome!

Martin Scorcese newest flick may be coming this year. Nothing less expected from martin Scorcese

meconate

Do you mean that 'Hugo' movie? Looks a little childish, to say it's Scorcese.

yeah it isn't one of those dark theme type movies, but it still seems pretty good movie to watch.

Random question post:

American Top Gear or British Top Gear?

I personally prefer British any day over the American one.

There's also an Aussie Top Gear.

The Aussie one is actually funny, but the American one is just three hillbillys, driving american muscle cars. Like, stereotypical hillbillys.

Yeah sadly there is. I watch it rarely, just to see if it got any better and really it's barely gotten better.

So, I just finished watching through the 1st season of Game of Thrones.  I'm interested in reading the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series of novels.  How do the books compare to the television series?

Can't believe I hadn't even heard of the novels until now, considering how long they've been around.

I'm not much of a movie person. My favorites would be Inception, The Dark Knight, and Iron Man.

I do like TV a lot though. Shows I enjoy are Chuck, White Collar, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Psych, Modern Family, Burn Notice, Suits, Louie, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Community, 30 Rock, Entourage, Scrubs, That 70's Show, and Friendship is Magic of course. I'm also thinking about giving Mad Men a shot, as my folks love it.

I've been watching Home Movies again on Netflix because I remembered it somewhat fondly from a while back on Adult Swim. My god, I'd forgotten that this show was so f***ing amazing. The terrible movies they make would be a great show on its own, but add the stuff outside of them, especially Coach McGuirk (who I want to be when I'm older), and it's one of the best cartoons ever.

I loved that show, too.  I had actually forgot about it until you mentioned it.  I was a little surprised when I found out Brendon Small was the VA for Nathan Explosion on Metalocalypse.  It was just funny picturing that small, red-head little boy with a camera sharing a voice with the lead singer of Deathklok.

EDIT: And Mr. Pants is awesome!

Yeah. I was surprised to figure out that Home Movies and Metalocalypse were created by the same person at first. But then I thought about it, and thinking of the frequent musical interludes in both shows, it actually makes a lot of sense :P

In fact, Brendon also being the lead singer of Dethklok makes a bit more sense if you consider that he also probably did the vocals for that Don't Stick Marbles Up Your Nose song from Home Movies. Heck, that might be an early teenaged Dethklok :P

Watching Harper's Island. Murder horror suspence thriller 13 part TV show about a girl who returns to her hometown, which happens to be on a secluded island, after 7 years have passed where her mother got killed by a serial killer, to attend the wedding of her childhood best friend and his fianceé.

There's a person who dies in every episode.

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Not as good as Blood and Sand but still awesome.
