Which Final Fantasy games do you own?

Someone hasn't played the DS remake of FFIV. I thought it was just as hard, if not harder.

I've played, beat, and own every version of FFIV. As I've said before, it's my favorite game ever. That being said, FFIV DS was still easy.

Addendum:  Every version except for the original SNES release, and the PS1 release. I've never owned a SNES, and for that, I feel great shame. I do, however, have the SNES version on the Wii virtual console. That counts. Sorta.

I immediately died 10 minutes into the start of the game. Shows how much I suck at gaming.

Someone's full of crap. FFIII was damn easy up until the last dungeon, which had no save point. FFIV DS was sort of the same way, but I didn't beat the final dungeon until months after I got the game. Those blue and red dragons are damn awful.

I didn't find IV DS that hard aside from a few fights and the final dungeon. But there are some missable upgrades I got that make a big difference, so I can see someone missing those and having a lot of trouble. I used a walkthrough for most of the final dungeon though, that place is just confusing and annoying for me. The bosses there weren't a problem though.

III, I have yet to beat, it was kinda hard so far, but too bad yet. (I stopped because I got other things I'd rather play, not cuz it was too hard). I plan to go back to it and start it over soon.

Yeah one tiny little scratch destroys the games.

Got one in my FFXII disc, locks the Guarda-Egi battle down and freezes my ps2...

I get scratches on my discs and they work perfect.... except Uncharted..... which isn't scratched :?Balmane

I never really intended to get too involved with the FF series considering the amount of games there were as I started late into the series, but as I descended down playing the games, they simply got better and better :)

I don't have a PS3. 

I have a friend who lent me hers and FF XIII which is how I played it. I just had to lend her my PSP in exchange.

You can change which monster you have by feeding it the meat of other monsters. 

Honestly, the monsters are probably the weakest additions to your party since their power is dependant on which monster they are.

You can do it in FFXIII-2. 

I think that's mainly the Enix influence. 

They've had that element in the Dragon Quest series for a while.  

I would say it's more that they're taking the elements that worked well in one series and applying them to the other. 

If they wanted to truly combine them we'd have the Dragon Fantasy series.

That. Though I dont know if Dragon Fantasy will do great since DQ and FF seem to have different audiences. Dq doesnt do very well outside of Japan for exampl.

Dragon Quest has been doing fairly well. 

It's gained a much wider audience in recent years. Possibly because of all the remakes on the DS.
