Stereotypical? Doubt it. Don't you people have this ridiculous rule that if you're tall enough to sit on a bar stool, you're able to drink?magitekk
No, that's being stereotypical lol. I never heard that one before though lol. That made me laugh.
It's strict over here. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to drick and if they are caught, the person who sold or bought those drinks for the younger folks will be fined.

Yeah, I think that's the same here in the United States also. But then again, some of the underage drinkers here have fake ids.[QUOTE="Balmane"][QUOTE="magitekk"]Stereotypical? Doubt it. I remember one time when I was 16, there was a trouble involving 11 years old kids, that got drunk and ended up sleeping on the street. Sadly if you have the money, most people will sell alcoholic beverages to you... they do fine the people who sold them, but its a small percentage. :(

That is disturbing that some 11 year old kids are getting drunk. The age limit they have on how old people should drink and smoke doesn't stop teenagers.Yeah .. Im afraid not. Its the same for video games..nobody controls it, not even the parents :?. I remember buying many Mature games when I was 12, like Resident Evil or Mortal Kombat (my friends did that too). The counter part is that although you can go and buy mature games, you dont hear news about people going out and shooting, or performing fatalities in school :P. So I think that may be another point for not blaming video games cause of peoples behavior ...:)angelbless
Honestly I can't beleive people would commit crimes because of games...Â
But none of that s*** really exists anymore. The Japanese are pretty much as modernized as we are.magitekk
Woah now. Buddhist and Shinto practices are still a very large and influential part of Japanese culture. And though their technology and fashion trends may be edgy, their society is still geared towards communion over agency...the people over the person.

The only place I have ever found Final Fantasy merchandise, (aside from games) is a comic shop 5 hours away from where I live. I found a Tidus figure there.
Actually... a nearby electronic store had FF XIII figures for a very short while. When the game was new. I did not like the look of them though.
I sometimes see FF figures in my local arcade that you could win if you play some machine.Balmaneyeah like those crane machines that they have right? S saw a small plush Vivi once there

Yeah that and some machine wear you are given a number and you press the button to get each number but everytime it gets faster. I almost got a DS from doing that once.Â
