Should FF go into FPS? :S

I know this might sound silly to some, but after I wrote an Aprils Fools joke about this subject, I couldnt thing of anything else. :P

Recently, Capcom said that the survival horror market was too small to return RE to that path, so they were going to focus on more "action oriented" games from now on....

So FFXIII-2 was released, and even though they made most of the suggested "changes", the game didnt sell too well compared with other entries.... so the questions is, what happens if SE starts to think like Capcom and starts comparing FF sales with CoD :?, would they make a FPS final fantasy?...would we buy it?... would that mean then end for the RPGs franchise ? :(

Okey some of those ghouls and ghosts from FF12 could have been intergrated into a horror game, maybe even something like those ghost horses. Other than that I think the horrorgames should have creatures from myths and histories, something that the Castlevania series does well. Mutation and shooter horror is towards REvil games. 

A horror FF? That wouldn't be bad if it wasn't an RPG. Maybe they could make a very dark RPG like Shadow Hearts.... I love that game.Balmane

It was remade for PSP wasn't it? I might just get that one. It might have been improved on. 

Parasite eve on PSP continues the story. It is not a remake. I would reccomend all of them which they all are good games. Parasite Eve 1 has a battle system similar to Vagrant Story if you have played that. It is turn based action. It is a good game in the horror genre. The story is good. Though short. It is a sequel to the Parasite Eve movie and book. The book told a story about a woman in Japan who gets possesed by Eve. Well the game takes place in NYC. The soundtrack is one of my favorites. You don't have to know anything about the movie or book to enjoy this series. PArasite Eve 2, also on PSone is more like Resident Evil in terms of gameplay. It gets even more disturbing in the sequel. Then the Third Birthday is the one on PSP. Not as horror like as the other two, but still a good game none the less. It is built more on action rather than suspense or horror. It is my least favorite in the series. But I still like it. Whats cool is that in PE2 you can unlock Squall's gunblade. In The Third Birthday you can unlock Lightning's gunblade. Sorry if I went on and on.

Johnny Bravo once said : Im sickened, but curious. That would be the line that fits perfectly. People combusting and sh*t. Might try it, it got a ATB system too so that might be fun to try. 

I would definitely recommend it. There are not a lot of games in the series either. Plus, they all are not really long. So it would be easy to finish the whole series. The Third Birthday is directed by the guy that directed Type-0 and Before Crisis. We never saw Before Crisis and still have not seen Type-0. Yes curiosity killed the cat but the cat has nine lives so:P

Type-0, I forgot about that game. Is that even coming to America/Europe.

I will play Parasite Eve one day! 

Type-0 supposedly will be on Vita. At least it will have trophies I guess, but that means I have to buy a Vita. I would have bought it for the Persona 4 remake anyway. They still have plans on bringing i t here as far as I know. They just are not really talking about it...kind of like versus. FFXIV is the one getting talked about and trailers....

Maybe one day they will bring The Third Birthday to PS3 and you can just get PE 1 and PE 2 as Psone classics and The Third Birthday on PS3 as well.:P

If it's on Vita then looks like I won't be getting it :(

I guess they may be bringing it to both Vita and PSP. They would bring it to PS3 if they were smart:P. Pair it with the Third Birthday:P. yeah I would love that if PE the Third Birthday came to PS3. It would be better. Some of the major complaints were the controls. Maybe it will. SE need to get us excited about something.

How about The Third Birthday, Type-0, and Crisis Core. All for PS3 with trophy support:P
