PS3 Themes & Wallpapers

PS3 THEMES

I have tones of these but the artist I am posting today is the best. This is fan made Sephiroth Animated v2, and completely free.

If you all like it I'll search my massive collection and find the best FF themes :D

BTW even though Sony said they were not going to release a animated pt3 theme creator, the guys/gals at this site made one and it works great!

Instructions for the uninlightened:

1. Download the theme you want

2. Prepare a storage media such as a USB device.

3. Use your PC to create a folder named PS3 on the storage media and inside make a subfolder named THEME

4. Copy the theme you downloaded {.p3t} to the "THEME" subfolder.

5. Insert the storage media in the PS3 system.

6. In the XMB go to Settings, then to Theme Settings, Theme, and then select Install.

7. Select the theme that was saved on the storage media. BTW the theme name may be different than the actual theme.

Also note that: You can have as many themes in the folder as you want but it can slow down the loading a bit.

Will definately have to look into getting a UCB stick or something. That sephiroth looked awsome!raven325

No need to, you can download and install this themes directly from the PS3 :). Just go to that page from you ps3 click download and install :P

Yep it works, I just downloaded some great dynamic christmas themes :P

If you ever play FFVII you will realise that Sepiroth is a badass, well in a way but he is the best thing about that game.Balmane

I'm not sure these are safe. I put one on my ps3 yesterday and today it restarted itself and said it was checking for corrupt files in the system. Nothing got deleted or anything, but it made me uneasy.

I think I'll delete it. The ps3's software isn't good at dealing with foreign bodies like this. There's a reason these are unofficial releases.

Too be honest I love my theme too much to change for one of these but these are good.

At the moment I have a megadrive theme where different game shows everytime I turn my PS3 on.

Dynamic Final Fantasy XIII-2 Theme Woo I've been waiting for this to happen! Haven put it on my PS3 yet but the anti virus says it is good :)

EDIT: Tried it and it works great. Bit short in animation though.

It wasn't one you actually put in this thread, just on the same website as one of them. I had scanned it too and it said no problem. I like the theme so I haven't deleted it..... yet..

EDIT: I've noticed a few of these are just pictures, so do they also work on the ps3 (as a theme) if you put them in the theme folder?

I could make some of my own themes if that is the case. And if it is the case, I'd upload any themes I make :)
