More DLC planned for FFXIII-2

Final Fantasy XIII-2 director Motomu Toriyama revealed some new info on download content and ending of the game:o!

• FFXIII-2 original had a system to strengthen the accessories, but it made the characters too strong, so the system was canceled.
• Bosses from the Final Fantasy series will appear in the coliseum mode, Omega is the first one you can obtain through DLC.
• Lightning will also appear in the coliseum mode as a download content. After you defeated her, you can put her into the  party with Blaster as her role.
• Square Enix plans to release download content periodically through May.
• There will be DLC to expand the story in episodic format.
• Besides download content, the game will have updates which add new functions in the game.
• Toriyama is interested to provide episodes for Sazh, his son Dajh, and the time travel merchant Chocholina, either as download content or novel chapters .

And yeah lordmew I agree... I dont know which character was more annoying, Chocolina or Vanille :P... and I only played the ddemo :o

And when I played the demo I didn't find her that annoying. But I guess it would be if you played the game for 30hours. 

Do you think they'll release the DLC content in an GOTY or Ultimata Edition. I'd hate to miss out.

My modem doesn't work on my PS3, and even if it did my monthly limit is too low for DLC :(

That is great news! It is a wonderful game I was worried people might be staying away because some people didn't like the first one.

I am not staying away, it's just that I don't have the money :PBalmane

I'm back. Sorry I was gone but my modem melted (literaly). I'll be posting more now. A couple of days ago I connected to PSN for the first time! :D

I don't have any money in my account yet but I was wondering what DLC is worth the cost?

I don't buy much DLC. I only buy DLC if I know I will come back to it over and over again. For example, I am a big FPS player so buying dlc for COD and Battlefield is worth it since I play them alot.

I enjoyed the DLC about Khaz,mostly gambeling and a chocobo hunt mini game, but the coliseum with Snow is too hard! I've just got Requiem of a Goddess last night so after I play for a bit I'll let you know.

That sounds really fun, I do plan to get this game once it becomes cheaper but it doesn't seem to be getting any cheaper :(Balmane

Well, its 32$ on Amazon ATM, and just 40$ for the Collectors Edition :)
