And as for Ma Chao, a lot of his exploits occured before he joined Shu.   He took Cheng Du effortlessly, something Zhuge Liang never accomplished.  He would have killed Xu Zhu if Cao Cao hadn't called Zhu back.  He was a hairs breath from killing Cao Cao, Cao had to turn tail a flee on foot, abandoning everything save the shirt on his back just to barely escape being run through by Ma Chao himself.  Ma Chao also fought Zhang Fei to a draw for an entire day.

Other oughta be split into its respective factions. Yuan Shao will be head of the Yuan faction, occupying the Northern plains, as in the novel. The Ma family will be regarded as Shu vassals, because by the true beginning of the Three Kingdoms era (shortly after Chi Bi), their own lands had been absorbed into either Shu or Wei, and they were alligned with Liu Bei or Gongsun Zan at any given time.

Come to think of it, we might oughta pick a time period to work from.

I shall be Xiahou Dun if you want - I'm him everywhere else related to DW or ROTK, so why not...

We need to keep it simple. That would be too many rulers. Four is enough. I havent heard back on a map yet, but I'll come up with something, and post how many cities there will be. Im thinking just for 3 kingdoms, 7, or for 4 kingdoms, 9. Ive had some pm's about people wanting to play, so we'll wait until Sat. or Sun. to start. Hang in there peeps.:wink:noahcycle12

Thats why I said to choose between you all. If no one wants it then you take it.

How bout just using cities from a particular region - say the central plains area?

The game sounds, good but I think there should be 5 Kingdoms: Wu, Wei, Shu, Yuan Shao and Dong Zhuo- (includes Lu Bu). But there's that problem about Zhang He, that he defects, so Cao Cao and Yuan Shao must fight for is "costudy", and then Zhang He would have to choose to wich team he wants to go.  Cao Cao offers him great power, and Yuan Shao offers Zhang He protection and money. And then Zhang He must choose to wich team he wants to go.  This is only an example. And this also would be aplied for other kingdoms. And I also think that other important officers should enter, like Hua Xiong for Dong Zhuo's team to increase they're officer number, but this would only be aplied for Dong Zhuo and Yuan Shao's team to have as many officers as Wu, Shu and Wei.

So you be leader.  It doesnt matter.  No one is liu bei or sun jian.

Since thanksgiving is coming, and people keep joining, I think we should wait until next weekend to start.  I myself will not be back on until Friday at the earliest.  We will start then.  If anyone joins during the game they will just be added to the kingdom.  Kind of like getting a new officer or recruit or re-enforcments.
