No Management Union Worth Its Salt doesnt have some sort of Tribute to Will Wright, the man responsible for such titles as SimCity, The Sims and Spore (I Hear The Tribal and Civilisation Phases Are In The Old Fashioned RTS Style.). This is the place to discuss some of the best sold franchises Ever.

Very good idea, this man is a legend for me. He has made great games and brough management to the masses with Spore and The Sims.

I've only played The Sims (first one) and Simcity 2000. The Sims fared better for me.

I loved Simcity 4 . It was a masterpiece of a game that took me about two years to play properly on a decent piece of hardware ... one of my favorite strategy games of all time, especially with the Rush Hour expansion . Anyway, the man is a living legend and I hope we see a new instalment soon...

You should have a try of Locomotion if you get the chance Zekere, I like transport but tried Sim City management and can not keep the income high enough as the civilians moan at tax then moan at things like the radioactive dump etc. Sim City 3000 is probably my favourite as thats the only one I can actually get to last a year on :?

I haven't played any of the "Sim..." games in a while. Is it rather difficult to keep the town in shape as you say?

I found it that way but I think if you read up or experiement it can be done. I have done ok when using the user created cities as its all done for you, your just expanding it.

I love Sims 2, but that is about it. Sim City is good, but I suck at it.

I played SimCity and didn't enjoy it too much. I like The Sims, but it's a bit too casual sometimes.

Spore is annoying as hell

However the Sims and Simcity are both great games... Will Wright is a good designer.
