I think its time to get rid of the older versions of many of these threads. this is the official OT thread.

EDIT: I guess I should work on making other replacement threads then.

EDIT 2: I made some new threads to replace older ones. I think once a thread has surpassed 10,000 posts, it should be replaced by a new one. what do you think? too much? too little? and the reason I didn't remake the "top posters" thread is because I wouldn't keep track of that too well. so if someone else thinks they can do it, or if paper comes back to do it again, feel free to make a new one.

I don't think threads will reach that anymore :P But I think that is a nice number. :P

GS already keeps track of that so I think that would be kinda useless.Even if you do want to remake that thread your job will probably be significantly easier

there are some old threads where we cant even post comments. I guess deleting those would be a start. and maybe all the other pages of old threads.

Yeah. Some users have left since the change though, so I don't see it becoming too much like its older self.

Well, at least the unions kind of stayed. Remember, they were originally planning to do away with all unions completely, until there was a lot of backlash.

I don't see how they lied in that particular statement.

They said they would revamp the unions not many months before this you know

as far as I knew, the "revamp" was simply getting the levels to work again. I never saw anything else promised besides that.

Meh I will try my best to stay active, but it won't be the same. :( The site is kind of lame now.

Also, does anyone have a list of unions that were brought back as well?

I have made a thread about it in the bug & feedback forum. it has all the unions that have been found or revealed to us so far. check it out here.

This thread seems to list most, if not all, unions that have been brought back.

it doesn't have all of them. there are 2 that aren't on that list that did make it. so far. there may still be more out there, but people need to look through their post history to see if they made the cut.

Unions were just gone for too long. That's one of the reasons for the lack of activity in them now.

nothing we can do about it. we need to find out how we are going to be able to advertise them.

They have a lot of issues to sort out next year that is for sure. They should NOT introdouce new features when the ones they have are broken

if they had followed that path, we wouldn't have "union boards" until sometime mid 2014.

Union boards aren't a freaking feature, it's a board

yet they were treated as features. constantly pushing them back for all we know.

It's been a long year

not for me. it went by damn quick.

I had a lot of stuff to do this year and only two weeks of rest and vacation. So it was long for me

even when I was busy, past years seemed to go by quick. guess its because I always made work more interesting.
