For me, it would have to be Heavy Rain. Nothing about the game is good. The concept itself is a bad idea for a game. Nothing about the game was executed correctly and it wasn't fun. The QTE only gameplay was bad, the voice acting was bad, the animations were bad...the story was bad...I could go on but I'll let you go. ▲

Sonic unleashed night time levels. Oh god what were they thinking. They should have just kept day levels.

Terminator Salvation, just the most broken, PoS I've ever played, it just fails at everything.

Medal of Honor Frontline (not this gen, but I got in MoH and played it for the first time), I never played this on the PS2 and I'm glad I didn't, it's broken; you can't lay down, the hit detection is completely broken, the sights look terrible, the gun scrolls too slowly in ADS, to fast without it, the enemies get up after getting shot like 10 times, the spawns are completely broken, you hardly ever have allies, and when you do, they do nothing, the enemies can always detect where you are before you even show yourself, and the enemies all have like insta headshot autoaim aimbot that allows them to put like one square inch of their arm out of cover, headshot you, and get back into cover in like one second, and the graphics suck.

Star Wars TFU, another stupid, broken game.

Hmm, I must admit that my picks of games were mostly good, I can only think of 1 game that I really disliked this gen.

That be Far Cry 2. I suppose I have ranted enough times about this game, but I might do another one since you asked ;)

The single most annoying thing about that game is that you could see alot of potential in that game, and several mechanics were well done in it. But how the parts came together were just horrible, the lame story, utterly annoying respawns in the game aswell as the lack of any real factions in the game hurt it alot. add to that something like 5 missions repeated ad nausium for something like 20 hours, and you have a worthy contender for "worst game this gen"

I played it on PS3 also. The story was trash, or wasn't even there. The massive amount of jpop music was terrible. Bayonetta is an out-of-proportion sex idol that took away any sort of respect or seriousness. Combat was boring, it can be as complex as it wants but that doesn't make it any better. I agree about the VA being terrible. It was like the still-born child that came after DMC4. IMO its not worth picking up at any cost. Glad I just rented it.

For me it was CoD4 on the PC. Probably the worst FPS game I've ever played.

The Last Remnant for the 360 is the worst playing game I've seen so far. And watching Final Fantasy 14 crawl on my brother's two-year-old gaming PC was painful too. Dragon Age on the PS3 also plays very choppily and got on my nerves. I'm going to get the ultimate edition for Windows some time in the near future, and then maybe I'll think about part 2. And what do you know, Steam might have it on sale for $5 or less by the end of the year... maybe.

1. Gothic4... a slap in the face to gothic fans... Risen was way better and now Jowood goes bakrupt.. see what destroying a franchise does? Atleast the makers of the original games are makign Risen2 (:

2. Assassins Creed series... awesome graphics, great setting... but bland characters, repetative gameplay and a story with potential flushed down the drain... so overrated.

3. Two Worlds.... this looked so fun, but man was this horrid.. dont know where to start really. Atleast they learned fmor there mistakes and the few hours I played of Two Worlds2 was a HUGE improvement. But still nothing can get that taste out of my mind or the flashbacks out of my head of the horrid performance, gameplay, voice acting and graphics.

4. NBA ELITE demo... this was sooooo bad, I woudl have this higher but it wasnt a full game just a demo i played. NBA2k11 is not only the best sports game this gen but maybe the best sports game ever, the representation is perfect for basketball... EA had no chance but to cancel there horrible ELITE basketball game because they saw how amazing NBA2k11 was and how horrid there game was. At least EA does FIFA amazing hey?

I'm going to have to say CoD: BlackOps. It's not that it's a bad game, just I got the PC version on release and it was full of massive technical issues. I couldn't even play the game till like the 3rd patch(3 weeks later).

MW2 online. It was the most broken POS multiplayer I ever played.

1. Fable 2 - very disappointing after Fable Lost Chapters

2. Gears 2 - Broken multiplayer on launch which made me appreciate the 1st one more.

3. Dynasty Warriors - seriously are they trying anymore?

Gothic 4: Arcania - Very dumbed down. It's like an RPG for children.

Saints Row 2 - it looked like an original xbox game and played half baked

Dragon Age: Origins on PC...

That game was a complete bore-fest! I just found everything about it lame. The art design was uninspired, the story was... I forget, the combat was mediocre, the level design didn't really stand out and was restrictive, and the dialog was often tiring. The only thing I liked about that game was the Origins stories.

I am VERY selective with my games though. I'm sure that there are much worse games out there...

In terms of being totally disappointed and let down, FFXIII is my choice.

I've played some bad games this gen, but the aiming in Turok had smoke coming out of my ears.

Out of the games that I've bought this gen, RE5 was the biggest let down.

two worlds on the PC (i hear the 360 version was even worse). worst game ive bought this gen by miles. so many problems its not even funny. in saying that im hearing very positive things about two worlds 2. i do love a good open world RPG and if they actually have pulled it off then awesome. but im still sceptical and will be awaiting reviews around its release elsewhere in the world.osan0
