Uncharted
Bioshock
InFamous
Resistance
Gears of War

EDIT: I think Resistance was a great franchise but I'm pretty sure it's dead. I enjoyed each of the games but as a franchise I thought it had major identity crisis. Each game was great though... just so different from one another.Â

Runner up: Assassins Creed series
Funny. It's my favorite WRPG. :D But anyways, in no particular order: The Witcher Batman Arkham Metro Bioshock Mass Effect (although I was disappointed by the 3rd game.)Would have said Witcher but 1 is the worst RPG I've ever played in my life

Witcher 1 is your favourite WRPG? I mean you could easily make a case for two, but 1?Â

Great (and long) story, great characters, amazing soundtrack, phenomenal atmosphere and a lackluster combat system (which didn't bother me that much and was later fixed & made better by FCR mod) Also, most critics and gamers alike seem to love the game, so I'm not alone:[QUOTE="GD1551"][QUOTE="GiantAssPanda"] Funny. Having trouble thinking about any others to be honest... Dark Souls & Mass Effect would be honorable mentions.
Weird... prior to Mass Effect 3, I would have named Mass Effect as my favorite gaming franchise of all time. Then the last few hours of ME3 happened, and it kind of ruined a lot of what the first 2 games had done for me.

I have a lot of respect for CDPR, but it doesn't blind me to the facts. Things that were ignored in their first games would have been nitpicked and dwelled on if they came from other development houses.
Sure. The combat system was somewhat broken @ launch, the load times were horrid, the English voiceovers were actually incomplete vs the Polish ones (which were updated for the EE) and bunch of other smaller issues. But tbh, with the resources available at the time, what they managed to do with the game was pretty amazing. And the game was very much a labor of love from their part. I dunno, maybe that partly explains it.The Witcher received a lot of undeserved love, people looked the other way on a lot of issues, out of love for CD Projekt Red and their motto and dedication to their customers/fans.

[QUOTE="EthicalBandit"]Oh, okay. I was confused why he had short hair. Is the movie worth a watch? It's had polarizing reviews a while ago.wolverine4262Yeah, the only real complainers were some die hard Star Trek fanboys. ID is great. Just as good as the last if not better. I'm not hard core trek guy but the first movie was IMO way better than ID
#1 Mass Effect
#2 Lost Odyssey
#3 Bayonetta
#4 Dragon Age
Nothing else I want to give props enough to label "Top 5"
Mass Effect

Left 4 Dead
If they count: Batman Arkham, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, and the Transformers Cybertron series

I agree, if bioware pulled this they would be crucified.

I only played Witcher 2. My PC wasn't quite up to par for the first game. What are the issues in that one?
