Your favorite flop or fail moment?

I just remembered , it was the 2008 E3 Nintendo press conference ! The most epic fail i ever saw which made it look even worse because at the time Wii was a huge success and everyone was hyped to death for whats next.

Easily No Man's Sky & The Order 1886. LOL!! Watching Cows damage control these crappy games was the highlight of my week.

Watching El Tormo & Dukar damage control PS Now -vs- XGP. That was comedy gold right there. It doesn't get much better then that.

The XBox 360 was ahead of the PS3 for almost all of last gen. PS3 didn't pass them until after Microsoft stopped XBox 360 production. They outsold the PS3 worldwide for the first 2 years. XBox 360 graphics were superior to the PS3 for most of the generation. PS3 play catchup in that area as well. Almost all the 3rd party games were inferior to the XBox 360 versions. Even the JRPG's sold better on the XBox 360 then the PS3 in the US.

I thought the release of Duke Nukem Forever release was a lolfest. The game is just hilariously bad and we all knew it would be bad, and the developers just taking so long to get it made, and how they disappeared for years and years then come back to show a pile of crap, and we're like "lol" and then finally Gearbox got fed up and released the game and it sucked and we lol'd but it was worth celebrating because it was a long following into a pile of shit.

Watching Duke Nukem Forever come out was like watching that really slow fat kid finish last in a race by a large margin, and you still clapped and cheered for them finishing at all but you really felt bad.

I ended up buying the game because it was like a moment in history right there. It belongs in a museum somewhere.

Yeah, sucked when Bulldozer failed. Up until that point, I had used both AMD and intel processors when upgrading my main gaming rig equally.

Shortly after that the core 2 duos launched, and I've never used AMD since, except for media pc/Network storage PC.

Since I'm not White, no wonder it didn't work for me when I had it on 360 lol.

Mine would be the "powerful" ps4 pro.

Cant do 4k or manage to hit solid 30fps.

ME Andromeda, this one is more disappointing as I was looking forward to jumping back into that universe but Bioware went full R especially with Ogre face as the main character.

Ravidrums. The weirdest moment in gaming for me. He went on to play Trump's inauguration, because the world is a very weird place.

Sony PSN subscription on Ps4. Was a joke especially during launch with nothing to justify it. Driveclub being free....and then ending up having to be in a que and wait for someone to log off before you could enter multiplayer during its launch.

because:1. Nintendo decided to publish this game on North america instead of publishing a Better game.(for example that Fatal Frame game)

2. and Itagaki Overhyped his game pretty badly.(LOL, "This game will Bosst WiiU sales.")

Wishing for games to flop is childish and asinine.

But I have no problem wishing ill will towards services/policies that are negative for the industry. Such as when Microsoft tried to have PC gamers pay to play online back when Games for Windows LIVE was being pushed. Or when Sim City had it's "always online" feature which caused mountains of headaches. (I'm glad the always online mantra has largely failed)

I generally don't like to see something flop or fail relating to gaming but I would say that I was very glad when 'Augment your Pre-order' was dropped for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

The Last of Us getting an 8 at GS. That thread was EPIC.

Microsoft's E3 conference in 2013 takes the cake for me. It set the pace for the rest of the generation.

Wobblestation 4 flop

The VR estimates flop. It was predicted to sell 2.5 million or something like that, and the cows were praising the company who predicted it. Then when the same company lowered it's prediction to 750k the cows attacked them as not being a reliable source, great times lol.

I mean, there are no issues with you trolling, but at least you could try to be a bit more subtle. Personally, I am glad to be able to play and enjoy all the systems, its what gamers should do if they enjoy gaming. It's a win win. Being able to enjoy games like Nier, Gears, WOW and Legend of Zelda is where its at. I feel sorry for those who experience less.
