Nope.
I have never and I never will. I hardly play games with microtransations anyways...the games that I do, I don't fall for it. The second there seems to be a need to be raped by microtransaction bullshi%, I move on to another game in my backlog. I have safeguards in place, it's never going to happen. Just knowing there are sleazeball CEOs that think they can yank money out of my wallet, I'm NEVER going to support that. It's easy to avoid. So many other games to play in the world.
I will never feed this rapacious machine. I don't even buy DLC anymore unless it's a GOTY version later. I'm not against DLC, but seeing all these GOTY versions got me wise to the fact I can just wait it out for a better deal. Microtransations though? No, I haven't felt the urge.
F2P games, I can sort of see how that happens and understand the psychological justifications, I just haven't bit...but $60 retail games with microtransations? What a joke.
I posted this yesterday and it's still relevant for this thread.
This 7 SECOND video (click on it) is indicative of the AAA big publishers mentality on gamers, in this case Ubisoft. They want to change $60 customers to $200 customers and it's disgusting:
