It isn't cheaper period. Better value, perhaps, but to be cheaper you have to have a lower price, there is no getting around that one. Doesn't matter what is bundled in, if the price is higher it isn't cheaper. But again, does open the alternate better value argument.
No because I live in the US and already have both consoles....although I do think it's funny Sony RAISED the price of the PS4 in Canada.
This ^ ^ ^ ^. I find it funny that Sony raised the price and Microsoft didn't. This should affect both companies I would think.
xbox was kind of needing to pricecut anyways. They already did in the UK. this is more or less the same thing since the current ps4 price in Canada equals the same amount as it does in USD. That and game prices for both systems went up to costing the same amount.

The Xbone isn't getting slaughtered nearly as badly in the US as it is in the rest of the world, so it's unlikely that Sony would try anything like that here.

PS3 was always more expensive than 360 yet millions bought a PS3..
PS4 was cheaper than X1 yet many still bought the X1...
People will always buy the console they want even if it is more expensive than its competition.. only time will tell whether the increase in price for PS4 will effect its sales..
Xbone was $450 shipped yesterday with Titanfall included and no tax. Saw it on Slickdeals. That made it the same price as the PS4 but still not near enough for me to bite. Get it to $350, and I just might buy one over the PS4. Maybe.
