Xbox 360 got Halo Combat Evolved HD and Halo 4 . What PC & PS 3 got ?

Halo is considered as best console FPS EVER . After Call of Duty Halo is the most popular multiplayer game around . And Xbox 360 getting both Halo combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo 4 .

I see HALO again getting critical acclaim and AAA scores in Gamespot .

What FPS games PC & PS 3 got for future in the ranks of Halo ?

As much as I like Halo, I don't understand this topic.... there are a variety of shooters.

I like Halo, Vanquish, Crysis, Half-Life.

I want Halo 4, Half-Life 3, BioShock Infinite, etc. They're all good shooters and they're all different.

I meant FPS exclusives for PC and PS 3 releasing in future and in ranks of Halo . ( example Killzone ETC ) .

Well, I think not liking it is perfectly understandable, but it would need to be completely broken to be the worst. Which it isn't.

Anyway, to answer the original question: Nothing. I'm not aware of any upcoming exclusive FPS that can compete with Halo. I could name games from other genres, but it looks like exclusive FPS seem to be slowing. Thank God.

Most upcoming FPS games are multiplats as for now . Don't see any any exclusive FPS announced yet besides Halo 4 .

I think Halo Combat Evolved and Counter Strike are still largely played worldwide amongst FPS genre ... imo . Blizzard games of course are more popular worldwide .

To answer your question though (and sticking to FPS.)

We have 2 new F2P FPSes comming out next year. Firefall and Blacklight Retribution. Crytek's F2P FPS might even come out next year. There's also the spiritual successor to CS, Tactical Intervention, which is also F2P and might come out next year. Natural Selection 2 is scheduled for next year. ArmA 3 is scheduled for next year which is gonna be amazing. Planetside 2 and Super Monday Night Combat are next year also. Not to mention all the superior multiplats :P

If you wanted to step outside FPS, it has Starcraft 2: HOTS and Diablo 3. Both of which outclass Halo in every way.

yaeh halo anniversary and halo 4 just isn't enough PC and ps3 have more in the exclusive department and its for one reason only Instead of putting support into their current system they are shifting most every thing to the next xbox system which isn't how you do things of course you slow down of course you put support in the next system but Microsoft is pretty much one step ahead of discontinuing the system like they did the original xbox...

they had an excuse with the original xbox it was a complete money sink because nvidia's unwillingness to work with Microsoft and shrink the gpu down, and do R&D with them to get the system down to lower manufacturing levels but they dont have an excuse this time.

PC has Witcher 2 and PS3 has Dark SOuls and FF13-2

Halo isn't even that good.

Logical. If they don't have a 360, then they probably don't care about Halo anyway and won't care for Halo remake or Halo 4 either. They'll play everything else other than Halo remake and Halo 4, which is a lot gaming. If they cared enough, they'd have a 360 and be getting those games.

Meh, C-S is like Rainbow Six with the realism taken out and given Quake II's bunny hopping. I call it the first step towards "Call-of-Dutyfication" of shooters.

I play resistance on psp these days and find it just as enjoyable as I did halo.

there are plenty of legitimate reasons to hate the halo games

honestly, I think the first 2 games were masterpieces and that the series went downhill after that. every campaign since the second game has become progressively more phoned in, uninspired, repetive, and dull. and dont even get me started on the lame mechanics and gunplay in the halo games

the majority of FPS games to have come out in the past 5 years are better than the halo games.
