like in what way?
Anyways, what's the point of this?
Like in a way that all shared games perform on a G4560 same as on X1X

how would anyone know?
Jaguar? Plus we will know the moment 1st X1X games start hitting PC
Can we just wait till November for all these X1X threads about performance and how they compare to other consoles and PCs? And the game comparisons too. Sheesh.
@ronvalencia: you are using the wrong path for your charts again ronbot. Those are for the meat industry forum.
I can hear ronbot regurgitating AMD presentation slides already. Brace yourselves.
What's the problem? Did I cause mental scarring with your pinky little animal brain?
Lolol, I'm liking this new Ron....

People need to stop making fun of Ron.
He's one of the few people here that actually contributes with informative posts.

Jaguar in X1X wont magically turn itself in Ryzen
LOL lems are trying to say Xbox one X is better than PC gaming. Not with that garbage CPU it aint
This is such a dumb post... don't even know where to begin. Ugghh, can't be bothered.

I have to say though, you really can't build a PC that matches $500 the specs of the Xbox One X at this point, despite Fairmonkey is right on the lowly-end CPU. (which is still garbage btw) It's hard for me to say as an avid PC gamer, but I gotta hand it to MS on hardware end and on the size and pricing for it. The only real drawback is the normal stuff that occurs with it being a console, which is the ability for it to be as modular as a PC.
I know it's easy to pick apart a console a lot of the time due to a certain bias, but there's something to be said about a company putting out a machine like this for mass consumers that's this powerful at this price point. It's obviously very easy to outshine it on PC, but that comes at a heftier price and with a lot of variables. The only reason why I'm saying this, it's possible to build a PC for $500 that could take on X1X but due to the mining of the low-end GPU, it's impossible due to insane GPU prices.
Edit: I know there are pitchforks and torches waiting for me here, but I'm just stating what I'm seeing.
@davillain-: someone on YouTube built a Xbox one x level PC for $500. They had to get a pretty good deal on some parts but it has been done

is it me or the X1X is not out yet?
If we get Volta by end of the year wont the 2050 ti on $150 match the X1X?
@davillain-: Well said. It's nice to see someone put aside their fanboy delusions and speak some truth... if only others could do the same on here more often.
@davillain-: isn't that true always though? Try to build a PC equivalent to the PS4 Pro for $400 and you'll also struggle. The advantage of PC gaming price wise is that you usually just upgrade some part(s) to your already existing machine I guess.

Gotta wait for those Forza 7 CPU benchies....
But seriously does the X1X have such weak CPU?
Scale Athlon 5350 with quad cores/4 threads and 2.05 Ghz into 8 cores/8 threads at 2.3 Ghz yields 390.64 score estimate. Not factoring lower latency improvements and custom DirectX12 command processor for CPU workload reduction..
G4560 with dual core/4 threads has 349.3 score.

Forza 7 is based from Forza H3 and recent patches has improved multi-threading.
Furthermore, Forza DX12 uses X1X's custom Direct12 command processor.
Alpha effects are largely GPU memory bandwidth bound and needs tight ROPS<->TMU interaction.

Which mean total crap as that optimization was also on xbox one and even on 360,is not magic and will not turn that shitty Jaguar into something that is not.
Oh boy there goes again with the bandwidth crap.
The xbox one has 140GB/s the 7770 has 72GB/s yet the 7770 beat the xbox one in many games, bandwidth without power mean shit the XBO X is a 6TF polaris.

I've been researching and building a Ryzen rig and am amazed that Microsoft couldn't get this thing in the Xbox One X. It's cheap and quite capable.

the power draw is way out of console scope, it would have needed to be the low power ryzen lite which still has no release date

Bandwdith argument comes from PowerVR and NVIDIA Paxwell.
Your XBO vs 7770 is flawed since hardware profile is different from X1X and RX-480/RX-580 level GPUs. I already shown W5000 with 12 CU (1.3 TFLOPS) and 153.6 GB/s GDDR5 being CU bound.
I also shown RX-480/RX-580 being memory bandwidth bound.
RX-480 (5.83 TFLOPS)'s 264 GB/s effective bandwidth, hence very close to R9-290 (4.8 TFLOPS) and R9-290X (5.6 TFLOPS) results.
RX-480 being memory bandwidth bound relative to old R9-390X.
RX-480 being memory bandwidth bound relative to old R9-390X.
Programmers for RE7 was careful with GCN's hardware bottlenencks (e.g. 1 MB L2 cache, Geometry, Alpha/ROPS) which enabled R9-390X to close into NVIDIA's 6 TFLOPS class Paxwell GPUs. X1X's 60 graphics pipeline/Polaris/Vega non-CU bottleneck reduction changes enables R9-390X type GPU's ideal results to be used on wider 3D game engines.

Jaguar in X1X wont magically turn itself in Ryzen
Combine two low latency Jaguar cores at 2.3 Ghz for single low latency Ryzen mobile core equivalent. Both solution has two threads.
2X Jaguar 128 bit L2 cache = 1X Ryzen 256 bit L2 cache
2X Jaguar dual X86 decoders = 1X Ryzen quad X86 decoders
2X Jaguar dual ALUs = 1X Ryzen quad ALUs
2X Jaguar dual SIMD units = 1X Ryzen quad SIMD units
2X Jaguar load unit = 1X Ryzen dual load units
The difference is two Jaguar cores couldn't form a single uber CPU core.
Ryzen is effectively 2X wider Jaguar.
Both Ryzen and X1X's Jaguar has lower latency improvements.
Both Ryzen and Jaguar pipeline length are similar (i.e. medium length) which is different from Pentium IV level Bulldozer/Piledriver long pipeline length.

Using a G4560? Running console multiplats that dont require a good cpu?
Oh and are you talking about gaming or non gaming? If I am a gamer I dont care about useless BR4k crap... If i am not I better get XBOS...
Oh and in November/January things can change drastically with vega and volta....

X1X's low latency CPU performance example

Overall, the quality is going up a lot. It would have been easy to say, hey, let’s just take the Xbox One version and crank up the resolution, but actually we’ve brought over some enhanced effects from PC. We’ve actually got volumetric lighting and clouds on Xbox One X, higher draw distance that is equal to PC’s Epic settings, higher resolution textures…
X1X's CPU is driving higher draw distance that is equal to PC’s Epic settings.
Polaris 10/20 replacement with Vega 11 with the same 256 bit GDDR5-8000 would be almost pointless just as RX-580. The bottleneck is with mainstream memory module cost.
X1X's 384 bit GDDR5-6800 is a workaround for lacking cheap GDDR5X memory modules i.e. MS thrown in cheaper than GDDR5-7000 chips for X1X.
GDDR6 wouldn't be ready for Q4 2017 until next year.
I look forward for 192 bit GDDR5X... ops, there's more trace lines for GDDR5X chip when compared to GDDR5 chip LOL.
@ronvalencia: Your use of Ark as an example of what the Xbox One X is capable of will be laughed at in 6 months time. I hope you're ready for that...

Do you have other low latency Jaguar's results? Lower latency is very important for Ryzen's rivaling Intel's counterpart.
Ryzen's improvements involves lower latency and twice the width over Jaguar. X1X's CPU only has lower latency improvements which is a half way house to Ryzen.
Atm, X1X's CPU has "higher draw distance that is equal to PC’s Epic settings" for Ark (Unreal Engine 4) and PS4 Pro doesn't have it.
API comparison

It will be very very funny to see a $500 PC perform same as X1X end of year early next year....
I know youre delusional to believe that 2005 xbox360 times have returned!!! Keep dreaming!!
