Will Beyond Two Souls Win GOTY on GS?

I'm predicting Beyond, or Puppeteer will win. Ohhhh... the jelly that will insue. :)

Edit: Forgot about Ni No Kuni. It scored a 9 also. Man, PS3 destroyed the competition this year in exclusives.

The crown for Game of the Year will be fought between Multiplatforms and Sony exclusive. Lemmings have no choice but to vote for Sony exclusive or Multiplatforms.

Right now, I think The Last of Us should be the GOTY.

I think The Last of Us will win GOTY here at Gamespot. As a whole, I think GTA V and TLOU will end up having a tie as to who wins the most GOTY awards across the web. Bioshock Infinite should also be considering a runners up.

I don't see it winning. If it's lucky, it might pull out a nomination, but I can't picture it winning over The Last of Us, GTA V, or even BioShock Infinite

Too polarizing, my guess is Gone Home. Short games also have the benifit that everyone at the GS HQ have the time to play it unlike something like GTA. My personal GOTY is TLOU though.

Itll probably be really good, heavy rain was good. But I don't see this game doing as well as that one. I actually think that the whole actors in the game thing, while that was something they did to help promote it I think its going to backfire. I think its going to turn a lot of people off of wanting it. It just seems really gimmicky

Normally I would laugh off any notion of this movie winning GOTY here. However, with Petit's recent review controversy and McShea's glowing 9.0 review (a definite outlier among the other reviews for B2S), I actually think this game has a much higher chance of winning GOTY than the obvious frontrunner--GTA V.

After playing past the chase scene in the full game (where the demo ended). I can say so far The Last of US is the better game.

If I had to rate Beyond Two Souls right now. I would give it an 8.

The Last of US I played 2 times and watched it being played once. I would give it a 9.5.

I never got to try Puppeteer. It does look good. But I really don't think Beyond Two Souls will be GOTY here.

i would say that it deserves it, i have only played a couple of hours of it so far but i found it to be fantastic so far. it will most likely be a contender here, but i dont think it will be gs goty..

I hope not game is terrible GTA V, Bioshock: Infinite and TLOU are all better candidates for GOTY.

There's very little chance it will get GOTY will all those other great titles out there. Bioshock Infinite & GTA V are probably the top 2 on the list.

I would hope it doesn't take GotY. I didn't actually play it but I can't see a movie/game winning more than an honorable mention.

I think its a solid game but there are games there are better this year like Ni No Kuni,TLOU,Bioshock,Rayman Legends and GTA5.

Any site that thinks that Beyond Two Souls > The Last of Us is utterly useless in terms of reviews. This is the case with Gamespot. Great forums, terrible reviews. If The Last of Us, Gone Home, or GTAV don't win GOTY, then something is wrong. But I'm guessing they give it to Beyond Two Souls for shock factor.

I just finished it and WOW! is all I can say, the game is amazing! I think it'll be a candidate for goty!

You must tell us how you feel about Beyond. I know how much you hate gameplay, level design, and love cinematic gameplay, so this game must be up your alley no doubt.
