Wii Ware GameSpot Reviews - some of Gamespot's worst ever!

Quite possibly the worst reviews ever. Especially LostWinds (since its the only one I've played).

well, those games have online too, so why not multiply it by 4, 12 hours... still more than most of the games you listed (if not all, i've never finished Halo 3 singleplayer, and i havent played any of the other games' single player (i only play CoD4 for multiplayer) but from what i hear...

I find it funny that certian parts in the review contradict with each other. This review fails hard.

And I never had any problem with the controls. That's one F'd up review.

i dont think its fair to call the environments ugly when its all art style. they should call all games striving for realism ugly cause they dont achieve realistic graphics, or crysis graphics at least (yes i spoiled myself with crysis at all high though it runs at like 20 fps (but still playable :o )

Lost winds isnt comparing itself to ssome kind of standard, so ugly is more opiniated (well, i guess that makes little sense :P)

I don't see how disappointing this game is. What was the reviewer expecting with this game? He hasn't even mentioned why is it disappointing, which makes the review untrustworthy.

Since this been mainly focusing on Lost Winds, what did you guys think of Final Fantasy CC:MLaaK? I havent downloaded it yet myself, but if its anything like Lost Winds's review, I probably off.ArisShadows

It's not my cup of tea but sapposidly the more you play it the more it grows on you. I played it for about an hour then switched over to Lost Winds.

Very fun game, pretty original if you ask me(giving out the quests and such, i've never seen that before), good graphics for a WiiWare game and building the city was really fun.

In conclusion=not a 5.0

EDIT: I was also shocked at the amount of things your adventurers could do to be better at their jobs, far more then I expected for $15.

ya i mentioned that in one of my earlier posts. it really is weird... it has gorgeous environments is dull, even when it uses more colors that Gears of War? that game looked great but it was dull.

Im actually surprised at the graphics. i know you'll all chew me out, but i could have easily mistaken that game as a 360 game. like everything is clear cut, and looks as good as eternal sonata (played demo and hated it :( )

on the other hand, it might be Youtube's bad quality blurring out the edges :P but i dont mind, i have a bad tv to start with :) hoping it breaks soon so i can get a new one.

no, the game seriously looks like an Xbox Live Arcade game. It's beautiful! It's honestly the best downloadable game I have ever played that isn't a puzzle game. :P

The music is very enchanting. Its reminds me of some game with similiar great melodies, hmm.. The gameplay is excellent. That the trailer that made me go buy it!

the music is a fantastic mix of Renaissance music with an indian theme. The melody has little relevance to the Renaissance time period, but the instruments and ****does. It really is intoxicating. I stopped just to listen to melodies.

come on fellow gamers, we all know that gs reviews are balls and have no credibilty whatsoever. we all come here because.....well hell i honestly dont know why any of us come here including myself, i am looking so hard to find an unbisaed site and its not working out. i might give up on all of these sites, who better to judge a game than me. thuoghts?

I'm sorry, but I usually respect GS's reviews, but this is a load of crap. The game is a masterpiece in just about every way, and it's mind blowing that such an enjoyable game could get such a review. I'm glad I bought the game before the review came out, or else it might've changed my mind.

Metroid Prime 3. The score was fair, but the review itself was completely unprofessional. They bashed it for being too much like previous games, not enough like Metroid, praised its controls, then turned around to say that the controls could be frustrating. And that's just skimming the surface.
