Why You Shouldn't Buy The PS5

I'm going to give some facts here that some fanboys aren't gonna like.

The PS5 is a waste of money- Here's why

- This thing is massive, and overdesigned. It's twice the size of the Xbox Series X. It's near impossible to fit this thing into an entertainment system without risking it overheating and still looking nice. So most of you are gonna be stuck with a massive game system sticking out around your TV like and ugly sore thumb.

- It looks like a Wifi router. When your friends and family come over, you won't get to spend much time with them since they'll be trying in vain to connect their phones to this thing.

All of that hassle and stress for a $500 system just leave as a dissatisfied customer playing that Spiderman PS4 DLC after you've spent two weeks trying to setup your system, only to say screw it, and place it hideously in front of your TV.

Those points have really given me something to think about 🤔

I kid. Just in case I didn't make it obvious, this is just a fun troll post because I'm bored. However, considering my last troll post a few months ago brought in every Sony fan on this website despite me saying it was a troll post, I'm sure more will come in.

I have actually been gaming primarily on PS4 these last few years, but sold it a few weeks ago. I plan on buying both a serie X and PS5 this holiday if they're in stock. Looking forward to playing HZD2 on PS5 and The Medium and Scorn on Series X when they release.

I think I'll just continue to enjoy mine.

I would get one if PS Now and PS Plus can do a Game Pass Ultimate thing cheap, plus I at least want to wait until new hardware revisions so I have confidence in its longevity, and I can just walk in store and get one. Could be a while but I got loads on my backlist until then.

I do agree with the size not fitting in my entertainment center, no matter what I tried I couldn’t get it to fit in any of the slots, so I had to put it next to my tv which I really hate, but I guess it’s ok since I’m enjoying playing it

Now that we have established you're not just a sad fanboy on the internet giving people advice about a product you don't own.

Looks are subjective, I personally like it. You're right the shape and size is weird and inconvenient.

More importantly, theres no games worth playing on ps5 besides remakes. Their subscription service ps now sucks balls, and ps plus games are good but likely most people have played them.

XsX might not have any good next gen games either, but they have game pass, which by itself is good enough to keep people satisfied with xbox.

Best reason is in two years they'll put out a PS5 slim that'll look better and play better. Plus it'll take that long for the system to have a handful of quality exclusives.

The PS5 has been great other than some random crashing and I've heard equally good things about the XSX which ill own soon. They'll both look good together by my new Atari as well.

Get all the consoles and play on every platform... problem solved.
