Why PC is leagues better then X1X.

I never said 4k monitor and neither did you. We're talking about the price 4k TV's vs. whatever. I have a 1080p 144Hz monitor.

And a few of us mentioned we simply prefer consoles, your homeboy brought up the 4k TVs, which I simply replied that regardless of system, you need to invest in a 4k Monitor/TV. (which is the main selling point of XB1X and future PC gaming atm)

Without a 4k TV I see no point in getting an X1X.

I paired a 144Hz 1080p monitor with a GTX 1080 so I can enjoy the silky smoothness of 144Hz.

Which is fine, i recently copped the GTX 1080 but I run it with 4k, although at 144hz I can see why 1080p is appealing.

I have nothing against PC gaming, but I will defend the Xbox over stupid agendas like the other bro who decides to bring up the price of 4k TV as his way to discredit the Xbox One X, this console is not a "must buy", but some of us are eagerly awaiting it and can clearly afford it.

So 200 for a 4k 27 inch monitor isn't anywhere near a 50inch + 4k tv at 700-2000. I used 50inch because you lemmings love to use the whole "COUCH" thing and I don't know any one who has their couch 20inches away from their tv. But if it makes you feel better, I will admit that X1x is most powerful brick ever created.

He probably brought up the price of 4k TV's because what the hell is the point in owning and X1X without a 4k TV and console gamers are gonna complain about the price of PC while they go out and buy 4k TV's paired with their 4k console's pushing around $1,000.

Several games still run 30 fps locked on X1. Games still look worse. Load times are still longer. The online is still trash. The library is still exponentially worse. I assure you, no one is "shook". There has always be threads that state the fact PC>Any Console. It's System Wars, deal with it.

I used to say just build an HTPC, but the X1X as of now is the better buy.

If anything we gamers should be glad that there are more options. If people want a more high-end PC-like experience they can always go for a PS4 pro and Xbox One X.

In turn the extra power of PS4 Pro and Xbox One X can help produce better looking and better performing multiplats for PC because we aren't held back by the lowest comon denominator (i.e. base PS4 and Xbox One)

I've looked at several HTPCs and mini-ITX PCs but I agree, a console is usually a better option.

Especially if you want a small form factor device to hook up to your TV.

There are many other elements than hardware that factor into the PC experience such as clients, mods, control schemes and communities.

Also, I wouldn't say hardware wise, they are comparable to a higher end PC.

Unless X1X can do 60 FPS on the majority of games instead of sub 30, it's a POS.

No, I mean: having the option to choose a lower end or higher end device (but still playing the exact games on it) is kinda a PC-like experience.

Before it was: you bought a console and that's the same device for everyone out there. Now you have the option to pay a bit more, and get more powerful hardware, kinda like how building a PC works.

The X1X is not a good buy at all. It is marketed as a premium device and it can not do 60fps in all games. LOL. Waste of money.

TNBH the power of the XBoneX seems way over exaggerated and we will all see that when it finally releases. But thats the least of worries for this platform as the exclusive library is none existent and there is bound to be another PS console not long after XBoneX releases. People buying into XBoneX are fools IMO.

Some gamers like to play with friends on the Xbox One consoles but need to remember that X1X isn't some mandatory console, it's an optional consoles upgrade. Always was, always will.

I personally don't about X1X and if someone wants one so badly, then so beat it. I'll be enjoying playing my games on PC with all of it's glory 60fps.

You don't have to share your passwords and accounts if you're at your friends house you can just log into Steam on their PC and give their PC and Steam account authorization to your Steam library.

I don't even get why you guys are trying to include the price of a 4k monitor/tv, in my opinion they shouldn't be included in debates, especially when they can be interchangeable since nothing is really stopping you from hooking an X1X to a monitor or a PC to a TV.

The XOX is a mid tier PC at a fantastic price point, unfortunately it's missing full PC gaming support and all the major benefits that come from the PC's open fields of freedom. On the other side PC, especially those running Windows 10, gets everything the hugs and kisses console will get because Microsoft have finally realised that they have a huge market to tap into. A market that they've neglecting due to a silly competition with Sony.

There really is nothing for a PC gamer to be concerned about when it comes to any of the consoles, even less so from a Microsoft console..

Mighty X1X MonsterBox has the herms shook almost as much as the bovine but eh, I can't blame'em.. Good stuff. :P
