Why Microsofts Surface tablet is the best

I took advantage of black friday and ordered three sandisk 64GB ultra MicroSDXC flash cards at $39.95 each and a Kingston Mobilite G3 USB 3.0 card reader for $9.30. I will put one 64GB MicroSDXC in the MicroSDXC slot behind the kickstand on the surface. Then on the Kingston G3 it has two memory slots a MicroSDXC and a SDXC I will put my other two MicroSDXC 64GB cards into the two slots and then plug it into the Surface's USB 2.0 port. This will add another 192GB of fast storage to the 32GB it shipped with. Windows will assign a drive letter to each card inserted to the Kingston G3.

I said expansion, not SD specifically. With the same Kingston G3 and two 64GB MicroSDXC you can add 128GB storage to your nexus using the OTG. OF course you'd have to format it as it won't be able to use ex-FAT and will be stuck with FAT32, but it will work. Don't try this at home apple fans.

I actually think the Surface is a great tablet...not for the moronic reason's mentioned in this thread, still i would get a Surface over an iPad anytime, anyday.

the ipads a good machine, but OS wise i'd take surface i just like windows better in general and its more fleshed out OS wise afaik.

iPad's are still good bits of kit but i'd take surface once more developers get on board with RT and Win mob 8.

:lol: not to defend apple, their crap is equally overpriced, but the surface is one of the worst x86 win tablets out there. It has recieved terrible reviews. Plus microsofts profit margin on the surface is even LARGER then Apple's profit margin on ipad.

Wow, what epic FAIL. It's not even a x86 tablet it's an ARM tablet. It hasn't received terrible reviews either, only people pointing out that it has less apps. Imagine that having just launched and having less apps? Good thing the OS destroys the others, eh?

You can use a MicroSDXC, but you'd have to re-format it to FAT32 and suffer the 2GB file size limitation, but it'll work.

This entire thread just sounds like the TC trying to convince themselves they made a good purchase

The Surface vs. iPad argument is silly.

People buy a Surface because they are looking for the flexibility they get with the PC combined with the form factor of a tablet. The Surface has a USB port, an actual file explorer, Office 2013 for free, and many other nice things that are great for productivity. The iPad, on the other hand, has a huge app store as well as integration with Apple's other products.

I have a Surface personally, but I would have no problems recommending an iPad, depending on what a person is looking for from their tablet.
